AHH Curly hairstyles?

Umm..long blonde curly hair...i hate it..straighten it once and a while but it takes soo freaking long even with my pro straightener...soo if anyone has some good styles for lonnngg curly hair..or like ideas or anything that'd be greaaatt. mature responses only please? haha.

AHH Curly hairstyles?

well, as long as its not poofy-curly then a ponytail would be fine... or leaving it down. if its poofy curly, wear it in a french braids or two braids with hoops.

AHH Curly hairstyles?

i have curly hair and you could wear it hafl

AHH Curly hairstyles?

But... what if the person acts like a tard when they respond??? Nvm.... braids, pulling the back your hair into a pony tail and having your "bangs" hang down, or you could do a bun..... hope it helps...

AHH Curly hairstyles?

i wear my curly hair....

pull the top part in a barrett on the top of your head, but far back near the back of your head, with the sides of your hair hanging down. put a leave in conditioner and some gel in damp hair, so your hair doesn't frizz. blow dry for a few minutes, not to dry your hair completely, but where you begin to see it curl, pull it all back in a large claw clip from the bottom/underneath so you can't see the clip, by moving your curls over and around the claw, giving you a soft look.

Curly scene hair?

ok, check it..i have curly hair..not afro type but with curls in it, im a boy 13 and my hair covers the ear..although when i pull it down or straighten it..(the sideburns) its were the jaw bone is..soooo whats a cool hair style that looks scene and i dont have to straighten my hair..but leave the curls there..and something that my mom will agree on cutting..

Hair Straightener Question??

Hair Straightener Question??

Hair Straightener Question??

YES

Hair Straightener Question??

do not even waste your money. that is a cheap flat iron that you can get at your local beauty store for about 15$. you need to add 25$ with the 50$ that you were gonna spend on that one and get a professiona one like a chi, made by farouk, or the hardcore by tigi. the hardcore is cheaper, and i LOVE it better. professional irons smooth and seal the cuticle of hair as you slide down the hair. this makes it extremely soft and shiny, but you must get a good flat iron spray to use with them. this protects your hair from the heat. try the "flat iron and shine spray" by tigi. its part of their s factor line. feel free to email me with any other questions. hope this helps.

I have super thick hair... HELP!!?

My hair is curly/wavy, and its sooooo thick. are there any cute hair styles that will work for my type of hair? Ive tried everything... Please help!!!!!

I have super thick hair... HELP!!?

Here's what i do...take notes lol

-wash my hair with a good mild shampoo, i use Matrix sleek and shine shampoo and condtioner. Also use conditioner when you're going for a certain style cuz conditioner makes hair stay good.[ it smells good too]. you can get it at any drugsotre or wal-mart or slaons.

-pat my hair dry with a towel but leaving my hair damp while i add a heat protector. I use Paul Mitchell's Seal'n'shine heat protector.

http://www.sortprice.com/reviews/paul_mi...

you can get it anywhere.

-then i leave my hair to dry completely until every strand of my hair is 100% dry. i dont blow dry cuz it damages my hair easily. but you can if you want to for quicker use.

-divide my hair into little sections, then i flat ironer right away for about 30 seconds each hair part. make sure you get a cermatic flat ironer. i use revlon and it works very good for my hair.

-then i apply paul mitchells gloss drops cuz it makes my hair frixx free and stays shiny

I have super thick hair... HELP!!?

curly-mine tooo!!!

if it dries naturally curly, don't brush through it once it's dry

I don't do anything to my hair and it looks cute

or you could do a half ponytail-only don't use the ponytail holders-use a ribbon

or you could do a cute bun while it's slightly wet and you could gel into it if you like!

hope that helps!

I have super thick hair... HELP!!?

my hair is like that too, i found that the shorter it is, the better. and try to use a straitener, especially a ceramic one.

I have super thick hair... HELP!!?

you can try straightining it. my friend has the same problem, and she looks so good with it sraghtened. you could it.

I have super thick hair... HELP!!?

My hair is wavy and so thick too. I have had my hair short for years. I have to get it cut for at least 3 months. As I get older I think it is getting wavier. I got me some gel that supposed to make it straight. Well I do use a blow dryer like it says and it does feel a little straight, but it still isn't straight like I want it to be. I am going to try to use a flat iron when my hair grows out some more and see what it does. I have coworkers who say they use straighter and flat iron and their hair is straight.

I have super thick hair... HELP!!?

well i have curly hair also (only i straighten it) i used to have my hair all one length and it was super heavy and i hated it.... i layered my hair (like super layered my hair) and its way better... its not as puffy... way cuter... and allot easier to take care of.... i think u would like it

I have super thick hair... HELP!!?

I have super thick hair myself. What I did was let my hairdresser do what she wanted and she ended up cutting it to about my chin and I use Mark Staighting cream (Avon) and a wet to straight straighter from wal-mart. I put in a leave spray conditnor, then blow dry my hair, then put the cream in my hair and straightin it. I love it Hope this helps

Sunsilk has a cheap collection of hair care products. mix and match!

Can someone please help me with my hair??????

Okay so heres the problem. My hair is medium length (little under my shoulder) and really angled. I've been straightening it regularly for a long time now, but my hair is naturally curly (big loose wave-y curls). I want to wear it curly but for whatever the reason the front of my hair curls insanely but the back just lies there. I can't tell if its because I've been straightening it for so long, or if its from my hair cut.

If it's from my haircut, are there any style that enhance curly hair. And if it's not my haircut, what can I do to get the back of my head to curl? Thanks!

Can someone please help me with my hair??????

I'm not sure what angled is, so I really don't know if its because of that. =/ But your legnth is good for getting pretty curls. =) That's just a tad shorter than mine. My hair is in long layers though.

As for styling, use curl defining products. I use Sunsilk Frizz Ease 24/7 creme (green bottle), Tresseme Curl Care mousse (you can use Garnier Curl Construct for a heavier hold), and Aussie hairspray for hold.

Also, I use Garnier Fructis Curl %26amp; Shine shampoo, conditioner, and leave in. This helped a lot too.

Good luck %26amp; hope this helped!

Can someone please help me with my hair??????

Often, angled/layers make your hair more curly. So the reason your hair curls may be because it is angled in the front. You can layer it or perm it..

Hope this helps!

Can someone please help me with my hair??????

Might be your hair is too heavy to curl however your wearing it now. Is it all one length? You might try having it cut in some layers. I doubt your straightening your hair has caused it to become straight. Find a good hairstylist.

How can i get hair like this...?

I'm African - american and i was wondering if anyone knew how i could get curly/wavy hair like liberty from degrassi?

http://www.the-n.com/ntv/shows/flipbook....

Do i need to get a curly perm or are there ways to achieve this hair style without getting a perm?

Also, if i need to get a perm then can i put another perm in since i already have my realxer perm? Or will doing that make my hair fall out?

Anything that can help. Thanks!

How can i get hair like this...?

just go to the place where you get your hair cut and ask this question there

How can i get hair like this...?

well, you could get another perm, I'm pretty sure your hair wont fall out,so you might need to get another perm. but really take care of your hair so it wont fall out!!

How can i get hair like this...?

Use curlformers they are great (they work on natural Black hair, and work even better on relaxed hair)!!! Wash and condition your hair with John Freida smoothing/straightening line, then apply John Freida freeze ease hair serum. While still moist use your curlformers it will look great.

Curlformers are available at Sally's Beauty Supply, and John Freida products can be found at most beauty supplies, drug stores, and chain stores like Walmart/Target. Good luck, hope it comes out nice.

How can i get hair like this...?

H* no do not get a curly perm on top of a relaxer u will b hair lesss....seriously...if u want a curly perm...wait till ur relaxer grows out wich takes a while...go to a stylist and ask them about changing the texture of your hair ...its really hard to change our hair types texture...this is something that should be left to a professional...

How can i get hair like this...?

I KNOW HOW TO DO THIS.

FIRST YOU HAVE TO HAVE REALY CURLY HAIR LIKE HERS OR AT LEAST WAVY.

1. when you get out of the shower comb it. 2.Then when ur done combing it you haft to shake your hair with lots of hair gel and moose until it is the curly way you like it. YOU DO NOT WANT TO BLOW DRY IT!! LET IT AIR DRY then spray it with hair spray it will take a while but ur hair will look like that

Are You a Hair Expert? Can you help me about my hair?

Whatever you do you can`t have that kind if straight hair. But there is one thing you can do. It is called yuko straightening and it changes the structure of the hair. Visit www.yuko-london.com. I have to warn you it is quite expensive.

Are You a Hair Expert? Can you help me about my hair?

um use girly shampoo usee tressamee. silky smooth and frizz control hairspray no one will no Report It

Are You a Hair Expert? Can you help me about my hair?

Don't try it at home. You end up with patches of bald spots.

Just print out the second picture and show it to your barber.

Are You a Hair Expert? Can you help me about my hair?

GO TO A PRO O THIS ONE. YOU WILL HAVE TO BE STRAIGHTENED. AND CONDITIONED ABOUT 100.00. DON'T KNOW IF YOU THINK IT'S WORTH IT OR NOT. I PERSONALLLY LIKE THE CURLY.

Are You a Hair Expert? Can you help me about my hair?

You will need to use something to weigh it down and smooth it out. Try something with a petroleum base, such as a pomade.

Obviously you are going to have to "chunk" your hair to get the spikey look... Do this by isolating areas of hair and combing individually and then using both hands together, stroke from the roots, outward.

How come God made my hair curly?

It makes me so angry and sad!

People ask me if I'm Jewish becuase I have the 'hair'!

I also can NEVER get a suitable style!

Why did God do this to me?

How come God made my hair curly?

I have curly hair too...It sucks i know! God just hates us that's why...so sad. Just DON'T cut it short! I cut mine and now it's like a big frikin afro!

How come God made my hair curly?

God loves both of you and he loved you so much he wanted you to be unique. He wants you to love yourself and Him. Report It

How come God made my hair curly?

its from ur geans... or however u speell it.. don blame god for ur parents dna

How come God made my hair curly?

so the people who make curling irons will have something to fear

How come God made my hair curly?

He has a sense of humor.. Look at the platapus.

How come God made my hair curly?

because that was his perfect plan for your perfect image. God created you in his likeness, enjoy it, because thats the way you were made. if you don't like it that much, straighten it!

How come God made my hair curly?

maybe its genes

How come God made my hair curly?

DNA

How come God made my hair curly?

He knew you from before the foundation of the Earth.

He likes you better with curls.

How come God made my hair curly?

Tempting but i have to pass on this one.

Obviously Rocky K didn't pass.

How come God made my hair curly?

Because you're black?

How come God made my hair curly?

can't you just cut your hair?

How come God made my hair curly?

because God wanted to see how stingy you really were.......your sitting here bitching about why God gave you curly hair....when there are kids starving in Africa and that whole Darfur thing is going on.......

How come God made my hair curly?

Shave it all off, then. My husband had curly-ish hair, and then he began to go bald, so he just shaves it every other morning. He looks very handsome without any hair at all!

How come God made my hair curly?

god didn't make your hair curly your genetics and hormones did

How come God made my hair curly?

it's a blessing, i have curly hair but i blow dry it straight, my friends are very envious of my hair because i can go both ways............without having to get a burning hair perm like they do!

How come God made my hair curly?

I ask the same thing...my hair is so curly! I hate it!!!!! We have to learn to love what God gives us..even if its curls!

How come God made my hair curly?

So that you would ask this question on Y!A. Someone will answer this that you will love the answer and contact them outside of Y!A. The two of you will build a friendship by IMing and Emailing each other. When you finally meet you will find out it is a girl and she is good looking. You will get married have three kids live in the burbs and live happily ever after. See there is a purpose for everything.

How come God made my hair curly?

Because he hates you? Only joking!!!!!

No, because he wanted to teach you how to learn to love the person you are, no matter what your hair looks like.

How come God made my hair curly?

Was it God of the DNA chromosome of your parents. It could have been worse.

How come God made my hair curly?

Haven閳ユ獩 you ever heard of genetics?

How come God made my hair curly?

It wasn't God! It was all the crusts on the bread that you ate when you were a kid.

How come God made my hair curly?

God didn't make it so you can't style your hair. Popular trends simply don't take curly hair into account. Even so, i love curly hair. BTW, what's wrong with being Jewish?

How come God made my hair curly?

Because he has a sense of humor.

All kidding aside, it's a funny thing that curly haired people want straight hair and vice versa. I've never really heard of curly haired people being associated with being jewish. There are lots of non-jews with curly hair.

How come God made my hair curly?

He wanted you to be very special. I wish my hair was curly.

How come God made my hair curly?

God thinks you look beautiful with curly hair. I would love to have curly hair. Be thankful you have hair and eyes to see your hair with. God Bless

How come God made my hair curly?

Sorry no such thing as god.. Genetics is what cause your curly hair, just as it caused my unusually blue eyes..

I have been asked since I was a small child "Where did you get those eyes?" I started answering "They came with my head." when I was really young amazingly people stop asking pretty quickly..

How come God made my hair curly?

Be thankful you even have hair. You could've been a terminally ill cancer child. Sounds like you've got it pretty good to me!

How come God made my hair curly?

Everyone is beautiful in God's eyes, and you should feel beautiful because i absolutely LOVE curly hair! (and either way you cant really do anything about it except try out different products to make it as tame as possible. lol) My advice: learn to live with it, and learn to feel beautiful no matter what you look like...true beauty comes from within! Good luck!!!

How come God made my hair curly?

e letters DNA besides get a perm if you want them to be straight

How come God made my hair curly?

no such thing as god

Men's hair style - I need advice!?

New Year's is coming up and I'm looking forward to going out and celebrating with my friends so I want to look my best. The trouble is I've no idea how to style my hair. Up until only a few months ago I'd used to just let my hair grow out and aside flattening it down not really look after it so I've very little experience with styling hair. At the moment my hair is cut short (short for me); it's about an inch long. It's naturally curly but at this length it's not really obvious. Up until now I've just been using regular hair gel and spiking my hair up on the top of my head, it works OK enough but I want to try something new. I've got some Alberto VO5 wet style gel but the problem is even with a small bit used it feels really heavy and makes my hair go curly. Anybody got any hints/tips/help/resources they could share to help me? Thanks and Happy New Year :)

Men's hair style - I need advice!?

Yea sonn, so basicly you should try to either do the whole: wavy, and relaxed look, or the mini-mowhak look, LOL. To get the perfect look for the W%26amp;R one, try to take a shower, and comb the hair to the side. Use a mini, mini, miiini rolling brush, to use the wavy.. and then dry it like that. The mini mowhak thing you can use a sculpting gell, preferably Pantene ProV Sculpting wax. Yea son hope it works

Men's hair style - I need advice!?

These days gel that makes your hair kinda wet looking is so cute! gel works!

Men's hair style - I need advice!?

Gell is for kids I think looks silly

Go el natrel thats the style in UK

Not sure where you are!

Men's hair style - I need advice!?

go to a good hairstyleist. maybe they could help u there. or, just go natural (im bad at doing hair myself!)

Men's hair style - I need advice!?

I Say do u front bit combed over ther back spiked up

Men's hair style - I need advice!?

idk i think curly hair on guys looks hot but that is my opinion

How do you make your hair stay curly-ish without making it go poof?

my hair turns into a gigantic poofball if i dont straighten it...but straightening takes soooooooooo long. if i just want to let it get wavy/curly, how can it not look so huge?

and can it stay like that overnight (i shower before bed each night, and then i style it while it dries)

How do you make your hair stay curly-ish without making it go poof?

Use a gel or foam with a type of mud or hair putty. Mix the two together and run throughly through hair. You can blow dry your hair but scrunch while drying. Do not allow your hair to dry all the way. Leave it slightly damp and then use hair spray or a litle more hair mud/putty and let the rest air dry. Don't brush your hair through because it will puff up.

How do you make your hair stay curly-ish without making it go poof?

Put a little gell in damp hair and french braid it until it is almot dry. Then slowly shake out your hair and scrunch it with you hands until it dries completly. This process can take about an haour but it won't frizz.

How do you make your hair stay curly-ish without making it go poof?

get mousse and put a little n your hair and then squeeze or scrunch your hair in your hand and go to sleep with it down welll you dont have to but thats what i do

How do you make your hair stay curly-ish without making it go poof?

The best way to do this is to use a curl definer, a gel and hairspray.

Wash your hair in the morning, towel dry, apply the curl definer and gel with a scrunching technique, apply the hairspray and allow to air dry DO NOT USE A DIFFUSER.

This is what I do with my curly hair clients, give it a try and let me know how it goes.

How do you make your hair stay curly-ish without making it go poof?

try styling it when it's wet....and dont do it in a humid bathroom (you probably already no that CURLS+HUMIDITY=BAD!! Or......braid your hair at nite and style it in the mornin...i use John Freida's anti-defrizz serum...it REALLY works....and remember CONDITION CONDITION CONDITION!

How do you make your hair stay curly-ish without making it go poof?

use wax or spray when you are about to style it and use a shampoo for frizzy hair

How do you make your hair stay curly-ish without making it go poof?

put a fan in the shower with you.

Any way to get wavy or curly asian hair?

i have coarse asian hair. you know, the kind that's just straight and the most common styles are bowl cuts and spikes. i've recently seen a person who has hair like mine but managed to get it more like this:

http://www.menshairstyles.net/d/1008-4/m...

I didn't really want to ask him how, because questions like this are pretty lame. Is there any way to do this without going down to a salon?

Any way to get wavy or curly asian hair?

The link didn't work but, I think you'd have to get a perm. That involves chemicals and some type of perm rods. I wouldn't recommend doing this at home because you can't be sure of the results and you could end up with some sections that are straight and some that are curly which would look a hot mess!

Find a trained professional who has worked with your hair texture and show them a picture of what you want your hair to look like.

Be prepared to become a hair product junkie. Because once you alter your hair with chemicals you always end up having to use a conditioning or styling product to replace or repair something the chemical changed in your natural hair texture.

Any way to get wavy or curly asian hair?

Unlike many Asians I know, I have thick, wavy, coarse Asian hair. Whenever i get my hair done at salons, hairstylists always ask me if i condition my hair (which i do religiously). It's frustrating because i've always wanted stick straight hair that kind of "swings". Be happy with your hair. You don't want coarse hair. I was born with curly/wavy locks and i don't look good with straight hair after all. Use an iron or something to get wavy hair. but DON'T get a perm; it'll damage your hair. trust me.

What kind on hair style should i get?

this is an old photo of me, i now have hair down to my shoulders with no layers, because im growing out from a BAD short hair cut!i can wear my hair in ANY curly or strait style, it anything where i can use the same cut for both would be great

Whats the best way to style curly medium length brown hair?

I have exact same hair type. First off, in order to get soft shiny curls you will need a rich and creamy (NOT GREASY) leave in conditioner. I rarely shampoo my hair. I clean it using a conditioner. Then I use Herbal Esscence Breaks Free Leave in Conditioner. If you are going to get a haircut try to find a stylist that specializes in curly hair. I was fortunate enough to meet one and he told me that gels a mousses should be avoided and conditioning is key. I doubted him but eventually I gave up and caved. Now I use no styling products at all other than my conditioner in the shower and leave in right after. This prevents frizzies and dryness which makes curls look messy. The best way to wear your hair is curly. and few things look better than a gorgeous and conditioned head of curls. Also, avoid shampoos with sodium lauryl sulfate if you must use a shampoo. It dries out hair. Baby shampoos do not contain this chemical so you can try those. So remember, condition condition condition. And I suggest you get a long layered haircut. Shortest layer shouldn't be above your jaw since it will shrink when your hair curls. And remember your culrs are beautiful, theres no need to hide them. Take care of them so that they do the work of looking good for you!

Whats the best way to style curly medium length brown hair?

Shave it:):):):):):):):):)

Whats the best way to style curly medium length brown hair?

get layers and side bangs!!! i have the same style as u do

and i got that it looks awesome!!

Whats the best way to style curly medium length brown hair?

I have curly hair to honey and it can be a pain the best thing to do is to come out of the shower and put mousse and some frizzing serum, but a good brand or at least one that is strong and is made for curls (well at least for the mousse)then let your hair out to dry and wala. I hope this works for this is my magic treatment.

Best of luck!

Whats the best way to style curly medium length brown hair?

Shoulder length with long layers.

Don't fight the curls it makes it worse. Finger comb your hair (don't use a comb or brush because it breaks the ringlets apart and causes more frizzing) then use a a good mouse, use a hair dryer on low to dry and use a pump hairspray.

Good luck

I need hair style tips please??

I want to get my hair like you know that curly/wavy style mary-kate and ashely do all the time? alot of celebrities do that sometimes, well I think its really pretty and if you know what I'm talking about do you know hwo to get your hair likethat? besides curlers

I need hair style tips please??

i dont know about you but if i go to sleep with my hair wet/damp its exactly like that, if your hair is different try using some product for surf type hair or a sea salt spray and use it when your hair is damp scrunch and if that doesnt work try doing that and going to sleep with it and then comg your fingers through your hair and it detangles it, maybe even some sea salt spray and tying your hair in a bun. i hope this kinda helps.

I need hair style tips please??

i believe they use a waving iron

Extra curly, extra thick, totally unruly hair. HELP!?

I'm half black, half white, and I have the thickest, curliest, most evil hair EVER. It's about 2 inches past my shoulders when it's straightened (takes forever to do though). I can't ever do anything with it except pull it back in a bun because it's so unmanagable!! Any ideas for cuts, styles, or anything to make it a tad bit easier to handle? Please help, I'm sick of buns!!!

Can you explain how to straighten hair step-by-step?

I'm 14 and I've never straighten my hair myself before. It's very difficult to straighten and when I go to a salon it takes 3-4 hours and only lasts 3-4 hours. I am going to use a CHI.

Please explain step by step. Include how to blowdry hair b/c I haven't ever done that either, LOL :) I have curly hair and I think I need something called a diffuser? Sorry, I am totally confused when it comes to styling hair!!

Can you explain how to straighten hair step-by-step?

You don't need a diffuser to straighten your hair, only to blow it dry when you are keeping it curly. A diffuser allows the heat of the dryer to get through but cuts back on the wind part so your curls do not separte and get frizzy.

Here is what i do to straighten: The most important thing is to get a good straightening product. Without it you will enver get super straight and shiny hair. I like Crazy straight from beverly hills or i have heard that both redken and herbal essences straightening products work well. Put the product in when your hair is damp and make sure it is all coated. clip your hair up in the back and only dry on section at a time (about 1-2 inches across). You can either use a flat brush with holes under the brissles or a large round brush with a metal core. Comb through the section and hook the brush near your scalp, then put tension on your hair so it is pulled tight and straight and follow the brush down the section with the dryer. Make sure the air is pointing down the hair section to stop little pieces from flying up and getting frizzy! You will probably have to repeat this on each section a few times until it is totally dry. Do you whole head this way. The get the small hairs near your forehead brush them straight back and pull and angle the dryer toward the back of your head.

After all your hair is dry you will need to use a straightening iron to get it smooth. Section the hair off the same way as when you blow dry. Clamp the iron at the top of the section as clsoe to your scalp as you can and pull it down over the section in one sweep. If you stop half way down you will creases. Continue this until you are satisfied with how straight it is. Finish it off with a shine spray.

I don't bother to straighten mine if the weather is humid becasue no matter what it won't stay straight! The first few times you do it it will take a LONG time to straighten until you get the hang of how to do it.

My friend has one of those straighteners (wet to straight?) that you use directly when the hair is wet. She says it works great but it must be really bad for your hair.

Can you explain how to straighten hair step-by-step?

Ok, well my friend has the same exact problem, too. If you want to get your hair straightned and you have that kind of hair your going to have to have more than one person helping you, so it doesn't take as long.

So here is step by step -------%26gt;

1. Get this type of cream, from target or a drugstore, it will say "helps stop demanging hair while hair straightening"

2. Next comb it through your hair =)

3. Turn you hair straightener on, and let it heat up for a couple miniutes.

4. Next, take a little of your hair (several strands) pull it away from you

4. With one hand still holding your strand of hair, and in the other the straightner.

5. Next squease on the hands so they open up, put the two "claps" in your hair and pull down

and just keep doing that =)

Can you explain how to straighten hair step-by-step?

Sometimes if I watch people do it as they explain it to me that helps me alot more. I found some videos on youtube where they explain how they do it and the products they use.

I hope this helps you ~~ and Good Luck ~~~

Can you explain how to straighten hair step-by-step?

First you need a good straightening balm, try Bed Head, it's expensive, but if you can afford a CHI, you can afford this stuff. After you showered, smooth it on your hair.

Then comb your hair with a fine toothed comb.

A diffuser is something you put on the end of a hairdryer that helps spread the air flow from the dryer. Attach the diffuser and blow dry your hair slowly and on a low setting (to avoid frizz). Make sure while you are drying your hair to comb it straight starting at the roots.

When your hair is completely dry, use the straightener on a medium-high setting. Make sure to start at the underside of your hair first, getting the bottom layers straight before moving to the top layers. ALWAYS start at the root of the hair with small groups of hair, not big chunks.

Be patient, it might take a while to get a hang of, but when you do, it's fun! :) Good luck!

Can you explain how to straighten hair step-by-step?

Hi, I know how you felt, I started straightening my hair at the age of 10.

I also have a Chi, they are great straighteners!

First you are going to need a heat protection gel so your hair doesn't become damaged.

This is how I straighten my hair,

put your hair up in two sections. Section off the top and the bottom. Blow dry the bottom first then blow dry the top. I suggest a oil for your hair, it makes the frizz go away. Make sure that your hair is dry before straightening it.

You might want to get some clips for your hair, trust me it helps while straightening. Then you straighten the bottom layer first, then the top. While you are straightening use a brush. The best type of brush for curly and frizzy hair is a paddle brush.

I hope I was of some help!

Can you explain how to straighten hair step-by-step?

Hi, I am a hair stylist. Girl you are going to have fun. A diffuser is an attachment that goes on your blow dryer. Basically it is air drying your hair. It evenly distributes the air to your air and it is much healthier than just blow drying all of the time. Conditioner your hair after you shampoo and leave it in for 3-5 minutes before you rinse it out. Dry your hair with a comb or round brush. After you dry you hair, put a heat protecting spray or lotion on your hair before you straighten it. Take your hair in small sections- start at the scalp and run the flat iron slowly down your hair to the ends. When you use your iron for the first time, put it on the lowest heat setting. After you have tried it, if it isn't hot enough turn it up. Don't start on the highest setting because you can be over doing your hair and not know it. To top it all off, use some smoothing serum to keep down fly-away. I hope this helps and feel free to contact me if you need more info.

Can you explain how to straighten hair step-by-step?

I myself am learning also and I've really never done it before either.(I'm 13) one thing I know is if you relatively thick hair you should have a clip on hand so you can do it in layers. First do the bottom layer (with the clip holding the rest of you hair out of the way) then let you hair down and do the top layer. You may have to do it in 3 layers to begin with. Ceramic straighteners give more even heat too, so they would be best. Also, I know when my hair is straightened. it gets frizzy from the heat. You should get something to help with that. I know leave-in conditioners work well for after the straightening. There are also products to protect your hair that you put on before you straighten. Next time you go to a salon, you should ask.

Also, when you blow dry you hair you should hold the blow dyer in one hand, and hold it above you head. Point it straight down so its blowing your hair down. You should use a brush and brush you hair in the direction you want to style it in. If you want it straight, brush straight. If you want it to flip inward or outward, brush it so. I will tell you it's hard work, but you arms will get stronger after a while. Remember heat damages hair so if your hair gets frizzy, stop straightening it for a while and all ways use conditioner. I really love the Garnier Fructis system. They have so many products, you should find something to use.

Hope this helps.

I have extremely thick, brown, curly hair..their not ringlets like big curls I need a new style...HE

how should i wear my hair thats easy?

thanks!!

I have extremely thick, brown, curly hair..their not ringlets like big curls I need a new style...HELP!!?

I have the exact kind of hair extremely thick curly brown hair, and I wish I had ringlets. what I like is putting hair mousse, leave it down, with a headband. you can put your hair in a ponytail at different heights (low, high in the center) its better to do it with your hair wet. I know it takes almost hours to straighten so that's a once in awhile option. Putting half your hair up and half down works too.

I have extremely thick, brown, curly hair..their not ringlets like big curls I need a new style...HELP!!?

Some days, you should leave your hair down and in its natural state. Some days, if you can, straighten. Put it up in a ponytail. Pull it back into two pigtails, straightened or curly. Pull the top half of your hair into a ponytail and then straighten the bottom so only what's in the ponytail is curly. Pull some hair back with a cute clip. Use a headband.

I have extremely thick, brown, curly hair..their not ringlets like big curls I need a new style...HELP!!?

Hi fellow thick, brown curly haired girl-

Have you had your hair cut in long layers and thinned out? Having the bulky parts thinned a big give your hair movement and the layers will give more of a style.

I agree with the previous poster too - some days up, some down...etc..

I've always wanted to style my hair with beachy waves, but my hair is too curly!?

I've tried putting straightening serum in it before lightly drying it, but it always has too much curl, then looks like crap. Straightening out the curls a little just doesn't seem to look good. Any suggestions??

I've always wanted to style my hair with beachy waves, but my hair is too curly!?

straighten your hair completely and then take a spray bottle with 2 or more cups of water with 1 tablespoon SEASALT and spray it allover and scrunch i have the same hair and it works for me :] good luck

Build up on curly hair?

I have naturally curly hair that is really soft. If it has any buildup at all on it, it "gives up" and won't curl. I have a short style that can't be done straight, and I've been using Redkin Curl boost and Alterna sculpting putty on it. Because it's soft it really needs the product to give it lift and definition, but now I'm having to curl a lot of it with an iron because its weighed down from the buildup. I've tried using Neutrogena clarifying shampoo and it helped some, but not enough. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Build up on curly hair?

You are using products that are too heavy for your hair. Check out naturallycurly.com. They have a bunch of products for curly hair.

Build up on curly hair?

try using a curling mousse or leave in conditioner. that's what I use for my curly short hair

Build up on curly hair?

Check out this website:

www.naturallycurly.com

It has tons of information about products you can use to prevent build up, and lots of other curl-related information!

Build up on curly hair?

I have a relative that owns his own salon and has been in business for years and this is what he recommends and I do it and it really does work and it is not expensive. Take your normal shampoo and mix it with a tablespoon or a little more of baking soda and wash it really good ...this strips all the buildup away ...then rinse and wash it again with just shampoo without the baking soda....condition then style.... It really does get rid of buildup... I hope this helps :)

Build up on curly hair?

A good cheap thing to remove build up is to add a little baking soda to your shampoo (any shampoo of your choice) not everyday just when it needs the build up removed. Make sure you do not over use products. For very soft hair I would not recommend a putty of any sort. If you do just have to use it do so very sparingly.

I have really curly hair. Im half black and hispanic, so i dont have that really black hair, but clo

All I want to know is how to style it?!?! OMG i hate my hair so much, and i hate wearing it down because it get to frizzy really fast. I wear it in pigtail braids everyday, and i want a change. Im 17, and i really want some new hairstyles ya know...oh, i have shoulder length hair.

thanks!

I have really curly hair. Im half black and hispanic, so i dont have that really black hair, but close to it.?

After you wash it and condition it use a hair dryer with a brush or comb to straighten it. Then maintain it with a flat iron. Have you considered a relaxer?

I have really curly hair. Im half black and hispanic, so i dont have that really black hair, but close to it.?

If you wear it pulled back all the time, just get a SHORT cut like that one real pretty Black lady used to have, Hallie Berry

I have really curly hair. Im half black and hispanic, so i dont have that really black hair, but close to it.?

I'm not that experience with hair, cuz my hair is exactly like yours. im half black and half white but i have that hispanic hair like yours. i can only brush it when it is wet...so i usually straighten it now. so it is easier to brush. a hot iron for me is the worst. all it does is flattens it it doesn't straighten anything. i use a hot comb, the best would probably be Gold N' Hot it a good one will cost about 30 bucks. my dad bought it for me. i use it everyday cuz if u dont usually straighten your hair it will get curly again real fast so u most have to like train your hair. since it gets frizzy like mine...in a hair store they should have bottles for finishes when you straighten your hair. Mine is olive oil and its to make it glossy and protects it from frizz. and it works great. i got my stuff from a 3 Diamonds Store. so it should be in there...ask someone who works there. it was a guy working there at the time who was spanish...but he was the one who gave me the advice on my hair.

as for hairstyles...you can look some up in a magazine...if youjust want some simple hairstyles, i usually just wear my hair in a ponytail and then have some hair down with bangs in the front. if u wanty more complicated u can look in magazines or look here on the internet.

I have really curly hair. Im half black and hispanic, so i dont have that really black hair, but close to it.?

you can cornrow it

My hair is curly n its irritated me a lot.i cant do any style on it.i want to straight my hair bt is

My boss straightens her hair with a store bought flat iron and she bleaches it and everything and it hasn't hurt her hair for using it years. That's what I'd recommend, rather than chemicals.

My hair is curly n its irritated me a lot.i cant do any style on it.i want to straight my hair bt is it safe?

My poor daughter has the same problem! I feel for you! I'm replying so I can see the answers later! ;)

My hair is curly n its irritated me a lot.i cant do any style on it.i want to straight my hair bt is it safe?

if you chemicaly straighten it but it cost a lot of $. You could but a straightener but some times it woun't work in some peoples hair!

My hair is curly n its irritated me a lot.i cant do any style on it.i want to straight my hair bt is it safe?

straighting your hair is totally safe but don't use it everyday i could really damage your hair i have curly hair too so i know that it is safe but remember don't use it everyday =] straighten it with a hair dyer cause if you perm it. it will get frizzy super fizzy =]

oh and yes u can make different hair styles with curly hair trust me i kno. use gel with ur hair but it has too be wet. oh and you can also put mouse on it u got to walmart and they have tons of so leave ur hair curly because one day u will regret it i kno i did..

My hair is curly n its irritated me a lot.i cant do any style on it.i want to straight my hair bt is it safe?

yes i have straightened my hair chemically for 11 years... i just did it 2 days ago actually...it's very safe.

if you are caucasian, you can go to the salon and ask for a Rusk Anticurl treatment.... or you can do the new japaneese relaxer but that takes 4 hours and is no better than rusk. it is VERY expensive.

if your hair is more like a black person, you need a stronger relaxer like carson's optimum sheen. I am caucasian but i use optimum sheen because it is only $7 and I can do it at home. The results are identical to rusk, which costs 130+ in a salon. they both smell horrible... but i leave optimum sheen on for the "medium-fine" time - not the "coarse" time since i dont have "true afro-american hair"... it comes with a reconstructor too...which helps. you can use it for weeks afterwords...if you need it.

ANYWAY, long story short... ive been using carson's product for 11 years w/o a single problem. I then use vavoom smoothing gel to keep the frizz out. I dont even have to blow dry because vavoom will hold it straight untill it air dries. i find the heat to be MUCH more damaging than the relaxer. vavoom is made by matrix. my hair is so soft and shiny and manageable with vavoom and soft sheen, it's unreal... without it - my hair is like a big ugly bushy mess...

ill check back on this post if you have any questions... i feel like such a guru at this cuz i tried every product on earth for straightening and finally settled on these 2... everyone's hair is different but these 2 are amazing for the price and convenience... cannot be beat!

My hair is curly n its irritated me a lot.i cant do any style on it.i want to straight my hair bt is it safe?

I would consult a professional salon about this matter. There are many straighteners that you can do at home once you know what you are doing but until then I would play it safe and cough up the money to get it done by a pro the first couple of times b/c straightening can be a horrific experience if you don't know what you're doing. You can end up damaging or even losing your hair if you aren't careful!

My hair is curly n its irritated me a lot.i cant do any style on it.i want to straight my hair bt is it safe?

Why??????I have curly hair and yes, sometimes irritates me but most of the time I like it.You can do hairstyles, just go to some good hair dresser and he will tell you.Curly hair is beautiful and many guys love it!!!!!

My hair is curly n its irritated me a lot.i cant do any style on it.i want to straight my hair bt is it safe?

It is safe to straighten it...

Two ways to do it

1. straighting irons (you have to do it all the time)

2. chemical straighting (more permenant)

Just remember, if you are using straightning irons, make sure you use a protectant on your hair first so you don't dry it out or burn it.

My hair is curly n its irritated me a lot.i cant do any style on it.i want to straight my hair bt is it safe?

If you live near a dominican salon go there and they'll blow your hair straight. A lot of people with curly hair go there and it lasts for two weeks and does not damage your hair.

My hair is curly n its irritated me a lot.i cant do any style on it.i want to straight my hair bt is it safe?

You could potentially be in a dilemma! Curly hair is great too (Julia Roberts was my idol till she did that straight number).

But we gals love choice and choice is good. I'd say get your hair straightened TEMPORARILY in the salon first to see if you like it. You might also just want to straighten your fringe.

Mind you, if you've got really curly hair I doubt you'll have the time and skill to straighten ALL your hair with straighteners on your own!

If you have your hair straightened PERMENANTLY I'd suggest using a japanese hair straightening system (they work good EVEN on afro hair cos one of my 'fro' girlfriends had it done and it looked fab! Just remember you're then commited every 3-4 months for the regrowth!

Another option is i think a product like 'extenso' - it's supposed to last 3-4 months before the straight effect drops. At least you won't have to worry to much about regrowth!

Phew, I'm glad I got that off my chest...

How to cut my curly hair?

I am going to my hairdresser tomorrow and am at a loss at what to tell him about how to cut my hair. I have had the same style now for about 5 yrs (long curls with a middle or sometimes side part). My hair is very curly and thin. I am looking for a shorter style but am unsure how to achieve it without looking like a poodle. How should I tell my hairdresser how to cut it? Should I ask for layers? And what is the best way to get a little more body at the top, because now it just lies there like a dead fish or something!

How to cut my curly hair?

Without layers the roots of your hair are weighed down by the rest of your hair. To get rid of the triangle, flat hair top you need layers. My layers grew out and I was getting no curl up top b/c the rest of my hair was weighing it down.

Really you need to find a stylist you has worked with curly hair in the past, and who has kept those past clients.

If you don't know or are afraid of offending by asking that question, just say you want layers. And don't be afraid to get some short one's going. It creats a full, but not pooffy, head of beautiful curls. :)

Oh and personally I love the layered look that frames the face, it make the curls so pretty. Big foreheads go for side parts to minimize the size, otherwise you can just go down the middle to make styling easier.

How to cut my curly hair?

When you get a good answer let me know! I have the same problem!

How to cut my curly hair?

I think if you have your hairdresser wet/wash your hair while you are there. Explain to him/her exactly how you want it i don't think you should look like a poodle if it's their profession they should be able to work their magic, right? I got a perm a couple months ago and i thought my hair looked a little poofy but it will go away (that's if you even think its poodle-like) :) Good Lucck.

How to cut my curly hair?

I think u should get layers. I have thick curly hair and layers, and the layers make my hair look even thicker, so if u want ur hair to have more body at the top u should get layers!!

How to cut my curly hair?

try searching online for a salon that specializes in curly hair, or a hair stylist that does

(usually hair stylists with curly hair can cut curly hair well. USUALLY)

another thing people do with curl hair is have it cut dry bc when its wet, the hair looks different (straightish/wavyish)

i think you shoul ask for a side part with long layers

good luck =)

I've decided to go natural. How do I do twists and any naturally curly hair style ideas?

my hair is tight ringlets.it used to be really long and thick.i damaged it from straightening it every day for about 2 years and now it's thin and only shoulder length.how do i do twists and any curly hair ideas? Also any tips to make it thicker? i don't want to use straighteners if i can help it.

I've decided to go natural. How do I do twists and any naturally curly hair style ideas?

to make it thicker use a denman brush and avoid brush and tight styles to not put so much stress on your hair.

http://forum.blackhairmedia.com/default....

this is a good site with good info and the growth section has good advice and help on it, the people on there has good advice.

http://www.nappturality.com/modules/myal...

this site has a section on going natural.

i use to straighten my hair a lot and doing that drys out your hair so doing a deep conditioning treatment at least every two weeks helps and curly Afro hair is naturally dry so you much make sure you regularly moisturise it.

also you can do conditioner wash, which is when you wash your hair with only conditioner and this helps because conditioners don't dry out your hair like non-moisturising shampoos with has in ingredients that clean but dry out your hair like,Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, ammonium lauryl ,ammonium laureth sulfate which are Detergents

which clean but dry out your hair.

also avoid; mineral oil and petroleum because they clog your scalp and if you put any thing on your scalp only use light oils like;tea tree oil, carrot oil, jojoba oil etc and hair butters like Shea butter and avocado butter

I've decided to go natural. How do I do twists and any naturally curly hair style ideas?

I have curly hair and one way you can twist it is by getting your hair wet then grabbing 2 strands of hair than twisting them together(do that till all your hair is in twists). then put it against your head and clip it. then about 30min to an 1hour later take out all the clips and you have twists

I've decided to go natural. How do I do twists and any naturally curly hair style ideas?

when your hair is wet you can put it in bendy rollers and keep them in over night. Then when you takee them out it leaves a nice natural curl and makes the hair feel and look thicker. To make it thicker you can get speacial hair shampoo and conditioner.

I've decided to go natural. How do I do twists and any naturally curly hair style ideas?

Good choice. You'll have to give it time to adjust though.

Devachan products are great for curls, but you don't have to go to the salon, you can buy the products online or at ricky's.

Go to naturallycurly.com to get more tips from people with the same type of curl you have.

Don't shampoo your hair everyday, but condition often and use an old t-shirt instead of a towel to dry, squeese out the excess water by hand then using the tshirt "scrunch" the water out. then just use a leave-in conditioner and either air dry or difuse (never ever blow dry).

I've decided to go natural. How do I do twists and any naturally curly hair style ideas?

if you want it curly then put your hair in little plats befor you go too bed (the bigger the plat the less wavey) and if you want it thiker and you have thin hair cut it short and layered at the back or ask your hair dresser for ideas

I've decided to go natural. How do I do twists and any naturally curly hair style ideas?

When your hair is wet, you can put some mousse in it and scrunch it, then blow dry it on low speed... This makes really nice natural looking ringlets and adds a little bit of volume... If I were you I'd also put some heat defence serum in (id recommend L'oreal studio heatseeker... Its really good!)

Since you are natural try essential oils to grow and thicken your hair. It is also on the same website...the ultimate hair thickener is Castor Oil (they have different varieties..I believe that the Jamaican black is best) - See camdengrey.com for some good prices on oils or go to your local CVS pharmacy..the oil section is always near the pharmacy in the back.

This is an excellent website to help you on your journey...

Very instyle right now.

You can make salt water spray yourself. It's the beach wave look.

Add salt and water into a spray bottle and spray it into your hair after you shower on damp hair. Scrunch it a little and there you have it.

How do i get my hair permenatley like this (vanessa style curly) (picture)?

If you want it permanently, you'd have to get a perm. I'd bring in the pictures - even if you described it perfectly some people might not understand.

This should help:

It seems that if we have straight hair, we want curly. If we have curly, we want it straight. Growing up in the seventies, we did everything we could to straighten our hair, even if it meant using the iron! Today, I am presenting you with an easier way to straighten your curls.

* Wash and condition hair.

* Blot dry. Hair should be almost dry when you begin.

* Gather up hair into several sections and secure or clip hair on top of your head. You will be drying the bottom layers first.

* Follow the brush (with your dryer) down the sections of hair as you straighten each section and be sure to keep the dryer moving.

* Take down a new section of hair and proceed as directed above.

* Work your way up the layers until all sections are dry and straightened.

* To curl the ends for a polished look, take your brush and pull the ends under. Finish your styling with a blast of cool air if your hairdryer has this capability.

What kind of formal-ish hair styles can I do with my hair length? (pic)?

Thats me. Sorry, not a good pic, just wanted to show length of hair. Would something like this look good?http://www.curly-hair-styles-magazine.co... Any suggestions???

What kind of formal-ish hair styles can I do with my hair length? (pic)?

it would even though I believe Jessica's is in an updo in the back.

go here:http://beauty.about.com/od/promhairstyle... to get more ideas

What kind of formal-ish hair styles can I do with my hair length? (pic)?

i think that pic is cute. You could even do that at home with a waving iron and some bobby pins. Just wave it with a heavy side part, put a little pomade through the hair and messily pin some of the hair back. Or a stylist can do a faux updo with a similar technique. Since it appears the hair is longer in front..

What kind of formal-ish hair styles can I do with my hair length? (pic)?

i dont' know but your pretty cute

What kind of formal-ish hair styles can I do with my hair length? (pic)?

If your hair is that length then i think the best way to put it is.....

Half up and down, put some bangs down but to the side but only put the bangs down on your bad side cause then you can show off your good side. Also maybe even put some curls in the ponytail or in the bottom half.

Hope i helped!Good Luck!

What kind of formal-ish hair styles can I do with my hair length? (pic)?

Cute hair!

I dunno. When you curl your hair, it goes much much shorter. You might want to actually do a straight style, because the curls are likely to be above your eyes if they're done like that.

What is the best product to use on curly hair for styling?

.I currently use mousse and citre shine but I dont like the way it looks..I like when a girls hair is all glossy.

What is the best product to use on curly hair for styling?

I use V05 Smoothing souffle' frizz defense cream and Pantene Pro V frizz control treatment leave in conditioner. After I wash and condition my hair, I put the Smoothing Souffle' in my hair and brush or comb it in. Then I spray the Pantene in my hair without really touching my hair. I let it air dry and don't touch it at all until completely dry. After it dries I scrunch it with my fingers a little and...viola, nice springy curls that last all day without all the sticky hair products. Since these products are both leave in conditioners, they are actually good for your hair. And another nice thing is that both can be found at any local department or grocery store and don't cost a fortune. Best of Luck!!!

What is the best product to use on curly hair for styling?

I use tres semme mousse and I wash my hair at night. I give it quick dry with the hair dryer so the front of my hair is styled. I don't use a comb or a brush, just run my fingers through it. I give the damp hair a twist and then head to bed. In the morning I give it a spritz with some water and hair spritz, and I've got perfect shiny locks!!!

What is the best product to use on curly hair for styling?

The best advice about styling curly hair is to avoid overhandling it.

now you can tell from my other questions i cant control my stupid curly hair but the one thing i love about it that i can do is make it incredibly shiny and healthy looking after its dry just put either a small amount of teatree oil in it or vitamin oils the key part is you wait till its dry so you know how much to add and so it doestn run off with the water also if you cant find these things the john freida frizzease (which has never really eased th frizz for me) is actually a good oil like substance for shine enhancement kudos to you john freida all double tasking like that pity the frizz part doesnt work haha

Love You Reply ASAP!

I have blonde curly hair and I really want an 'Emo style' haircut. I definatly dont want anything perminatly!

Okay don't cut it that much shorter, try straightening it and getting a bit shorter layers on top so that you have more volume on the top of your head. Get GHDs. They cost around 鎷?00, but they can last a life-time. Don't buy cheapy brands that take 30 minutes to heat up, GHDs take about 4 secounds. Believe me, it's worth it. Anyway, i don't recommend getting a fringe, it doesn't suit everybody and your eyes are too pretty to be covered up. Don't dye your hair black, it might not suit your skin tone. I am white, and i have black hair. But it only suits me because it's natural. I wouldn't suit having platinum blonde hair (which makes me sad because i want to try it) simply because my skin tone wouldn't suit it. Anyway am i getting off topic here.. yes. If you are prepared to straighen your hair everyday, which i know of many people who have your style of hair that do so, then getting a fringe and choppy layers(not going too short though) might be an idea. I have... contradicted myself. I don't think this makes sense but im going to post it anyway.

you can change your hair color to black and/or wear your hair down covering parts of your face.

Straighten it. :)

I have blonde curly hair and I really want an 'Emo style' haircut. I definatly dont want anything perminatly!

try just getting the bangs (they are somtimes called shag bangs) i got them done last year and i LOVE them! the best part is that it looks sexy and you dont have to lbe emo even though you have the 'emo bangs'. since you hair is curly then you should buy a staightener to straighten you bangs.

How do I make my hair curly using gel?

What hair cut would you suggest for my hair? HELP!?

My hair is kind of curly, but not extremely. I would say that it is more wavy. Right now the length is really long; past my chest and about an inch or so above my belly button.

I've been wanting to get my hair cut forever, but I just don't know what to do. I want to cut it so I can donate it to Locks of Love, or another organization that makes hair into wigs for cancer patients. So I need to cut off at least ten inches.

I want to have a short hair cut that is suitable for curly/wavy hair, but I don't mind straightening it every now and then. Currently my hair is so hard to manage and I would love it to be much easier. But I don't mind spending 30-50 minutes on it every day.

Here is a picture of my current hair style.

soooo jealous.

What hair cut would you suggest for my hair? HELP!?

You know I think you should try a hairstyle that is shorter at the back and then comes up longer at the front. It will look adorable with your gorgeous curls and waves but will look just as awesome when straightened and maybe, you could get some bangs to add to the look(but thats your choice)

Good luck! Whatever you do I`m sure you`ll look like a rockstar!

did you get your shirt at delia's?

What hair cut would you suggest for my hair? HELP!?

my friend has curly hair and she got it cut to resemble a pic of jessica simpson. it's about chin length and it's super cute because it curls even better without all the extra weight on it. I say....its just hair, whats the worst that can happen?

What hair cut would you suggest for my hair? HELP!?

Try an angled bob, that's longer in the front. And when you blow dry your hair twist it to get that bohemian look. Frederick Fekkai has a great mist for wavy looks.

Make sure you hair dresser is extremely comfortable cutting curly hair.

try this: http://segala.com/wp-content/uploads/200...

What hair cut would you suggest for my hair? HELP!?

You've got really great hair for all kinds of styles. Your jawline is wider than your temples, so I would steer clear of any styles that make the bottom part of your face look even wider. (Think curly triangle hair with ends level with the jawline). Plus, making the focal point of your hair closer to your eyes and further from your chin will make your gorgeous doe eyes stand out while making your jawline and braces "fade away".

Anything with pieces falling at the mid-cheek in front or cuts that fall in layers longer than the chin should frame your face really well. Look at the pictures of Kathy Ireland for an idea of longer styles in thick hair that look great for your face shape.

What hair cut would you suggest for my hair? HELP!?

I have been a hair stylist for 30 years and work with your hair type a great deal. I think your hair may curl a lot when the weight of the hair is removed. So you may prepare yourself to straighten your hair a bit more often if not all over, in the fringe at least. I recommend a shorter bob cut with some layering and a sweeping fringe. The longest length should reach between your mouth and your chin. The layering will ad some volume that will balance your very pretty features.

What hair cut would you suggest for my hair? HELP!?

Hi,

Well to me,your hair sounds kind of blah. You need to get it cut depending on your face shape. If you have an oblong face, maybe a chin length bob cut.An oval,a shoulder length layerd cut with long side sweep bangs.

I need hair styles!?

my hair is long..very long..and it is curly and unmanageable...it is also a little damaged and frizzy. I straighten id but is is soo thick that is is a hassle....can you help! ( i don't want dread locks!)

I need hair styles!?

stick out your index and pinkey and put your pinkey on your collarbone, and place ur pinkey on ur chest, thats where u should cut it to (my hair is this short, just recently cut it) and get side bangs but straighten them, u'll look really nice!

I need hair styles!?

have you heard of locks of love lol no i can help you why not search for some at google you can look for images or check for some links helps me all the time

I need hair styles!?

Okay while it is damp, make little ringlets with your fingers so that the curls are tamer, I've seen all famous hairstylist Nick Arrojo suggest that he does it on TLC's what not to wear show. Also when blow dryingget one of those round brushes and position the blowdryer above the brush and blow staright down as opposed to having the blowdryer positioned straight across from the brush. I thnk that helps. Also try john frieda's hair frizz serum stuff and I use Sunsilk anti-flat which works a little, so I guess the de-frizz would help.

I am getting ready for prom, and i need some ideas of how to fix my curly hair. I also want some goo

i want it to be half up or half down or whatever, and i have a tiara that i am going to be wearing. . .please tel me some suggestions. on products etc...styles etc...

I am getting ready for prom, and i need some ideas of how to fix my curly hair. I also want some good products

I THINK YOU SHOULD WHERE IT CURLY BECAUSE IF U DO ANYTHING ELSE TO IT, IT MIGHT FRIZZ OR CURL BACK UP DUE TO BEING HOT. A NICE UP DO OR A DOWN STYLE WOULD BE CUTE. THEN IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT YOUR DRESS LOOKS LIKE TOO. I DO HAIR SO IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS EMAIL ME AT SIXSHOT0518@YAHOO.COM

I am getting ready for prom, and i need some ideas of how to fix my curly hair. I also want some good products

I say stick with you curly hair, since going straight may only make it frizzy. Plus, lots of girls want curly hair for prom, so you have one step closer to achieving great prom hair already. Here is a site that has some directions for what they call messy buns, which would be a good prom style

http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip961....

Alo, my experience, just play with your hair. I have created formal hair styles myself by just playing. I sometimes will put my hair in a ponytail, and take pieces of hair from it and wrap it around one direction and pin it, take another piece and wrap it around the other direction and pin it, and continue until all hair is pinned. Then I may loosen it by messing it up a bit, and it looks really cute, but takes practice.

Here is a good style idea too that I have done for a friend, and also wore to a friends prom in high school

http://beauty.about.com/cs/hair101/a/hal...

here is a forum with some nice half up pics, but no directions, however, they look rather simple. They show with straight hair, but could look just as good with curly hair For the one, take a side of your hair, twist is and pin, then put a decorative flower or something else in.

http://www.prom-hair.org/viewtopic.php?p...

A style I do when I am short on time, but looks good is I make my hair curly, mess my part up and have my bangs offcentered, so they go over my eye somewhat, then pull back hair on side without bangs and clip. Very simple!

for products, I suggest a good antifrizz serum, like John Frieda Frizz Ease if you think there is any chance of your hair getting frizzy. Or look for a shine enhancing product. Since your hair is curly, unless you want to straighten it, I think you should be ok on using regular hairspray and gels, etc.

Here is another hairstyle I found and would work with curly hair, and can be made half up/half down and goes good with a tiara probably

If you always wear it up try having it softly set and leaving your flowing locks for all to see.

Looking for a hair salon in Houston, TX?

I just moved to Houston (in the 77065 area) I need to find a salon that will give me the best cut for thick, curly hair. I am searching for a new hair style, maybe something straight. I just need someone who can look and me and figure out a new style. Thanks

Looking for a hair salon in Houston, TX?

I'm not in Houston, but I've found the best way to find a stylist when you're new in town is when you see someone with similar hair as yours, and it looks awesome, ask who does it. Even if it's a complete stranger, most people take it as a huge compliment and will tell you. Some will even tell you to let the stylist know who sent you cuz many salons offer referral rewards.

Don't know how to ask? Just say "I love your hair, mind if I ask who does it?"
