Curly hair question please answer?

I'm a teenage girl and have naturally curly hair. What kind of hair styles can i do with it while leaving it down? if you have pictures please post them so i can understand the idea your expressing! if not thats fine:)

Curly hair question please answer?

If your curly hair is easy to style or train, you can try blow drying it straight (it wont be completely straight, but get it straight enough) then use a scrunching gel to make the bigger "beachy" type curls/waves.

Curly hair question please answer?

Usually curly hair looks best just parted down the middle, but if you want to do something new, try straighting it.

Curly hair question please answer?

I have curly hair, too, and I know how hard it is to style and take care of it. This is what I do.

If you have bangs, straighten them- preferably long, side bangs that go just below your cheekbones. If you don't have bangs, I would suggest getting them because you can wear your hair down and curly and still look young.

Then, right after you get out of the shower, put curling mousse or cream in your hair by tilting your head to the side and scrunching your hair with your hands. DON'T bend your head over and scrunch your hair, trust me. I've learned from experience that it makes your hair a lot frizzier.

Keep putting the curling stuff on until it is very saturated and dry it either with a towel or with a hair dryer with a diffuser.

Then after that, spray it with curling spray and scrunch again or just use regular hair spray.

Hope I helped!!

P.S. Part your hair on the side, not in the middle. It will look so good, trust me!! Goodluck

Curly hair question please answer?

My sister has curly hair and she pulls half of it back and 2 stings as bangs. It looks real good. You should try it.

How to get my hair like will smith in hitch?

okay yeah i know what the hair style is called its a brook or taper but what i wanna know is how to get my hair curly like that?? my hair is already curly but i have to put gel in it. he didnt have gel in his hair thats how i wanna get it. so anyone that can help me preferably a beautician.

How to get my hair like will smith in hitch?

To make your already curly hair to look like his, make sure that the side of your hair is neatly short and the top will have to be kind of short too...Maybe 1 to 2 inches...

Then apply mousse instead of hair gel onto the top of your hair when it's still wet, then blow dry... Shape them gently, cause you don't want to loosen up the tight curls... Then that should be it... Don't scrunch them here and there after it's dry.

You should have your sexy hair after following these simple steps..

Enjoy!!!

I have curly hair... HELP!?

i have the same kind of hair and the same problem. sometimes when i dont want to go through the trouble of straightening my hair, i just put my hair up and straighten my bangs.

I have curly hair... HELP!?

My friend has this problem. Her hair, she straightens the bangs and the under layer, sometimes throws in a head band.

She has thick hair, but it looks so cute.

Try it?

I have curly hair... HELP!?

straighten your bangs...crimp your hair wait till it is firm..put it up in a messy bun tie a ribbon in it if you have one..trust me it will look sooo cute!

I have curly hair... HELP!?

you should let your hair free and let the goreous curls you have take a walk. but straighten your bangs. if you have medium to dark hair put either a really think bright headband or a super thin one. if you have light hair wear the same headband but in a dark color like navy or black with some color. trust me, i have wavy hair and i did this. the second i got to school everyone gave me tons of compliments on how good it looked! good luck!

I have curly hair... HELP!?

there are many ways you should wear it. i have hair like you i wear buns, i wear pony tails, i sure you'll com up with something don't stress over it because then you hair is going to start falling. having curly wavy hair is not so bad after all you'll get used to it

How do I get rid of my curly guy hair?

I have awefully frizzy and curly hair. I've tried shampoos that were fruit and naturally based, and I've tried lots of styling products, but none of them get rid of the curls.

But the frizzyness is going down. :)

How do I get rid of my curly guy hair?

Are you willing to sit in a salon for about an hour? If yes, you can get what is called an anti-curl process. This is not a relaxer, its a process that relaxes the curls and gets rid of the frizz. Wavy hair is great on men, so i would go for this. It will cut back on the baby girl curls and tame that fly away afro weed look, all while leaving alittle body and wave so that you still look natural and nobody will ever know you go to the salon for this! I recommend Rusk anti-curl. Ask your local salon if they do this. If not you want to find a salon in your area that does use this product. Its the best for what you want! Good luck!

How do I get rid of my curly guy hair?

Styling products don't actually get rid of the curl as long as you want it gone. You could perhaps try straightening your hair and see if that helps. If you insist on using the styling products then try combining the product with the hair straightener.

be thankful for wut u have, everyone will like u for who you are! :]

How do I get rid of my curly guy hair?

the only way you can get rid of the curls is to cut it very short and keep it that way. If your hair is curly you can not grow it out and expect to keep it looking straight without using a straightening iron on it every day!

cut it and brush it every day

I have really super curly hair, how do you straighten it?

I have really curly hair. I have one of those cheap 20 dollars straighteners. IEverytime I straighten my hair it gets all poofy and frizzy. All the products I have with me are Frizzease styling gel and hair serum. My mom won'tlet me get any more hair products because she feels my hair doesn't need anymore than that. I don't reaaly want to straighten my hair with a clothes iron or a blowdryer. Do you have any tips on how to straighten hair like mine.

I have really super curly hair, how do you straighten it?

- Go curly! Read the book and visit the sites below about curly hair. I did and my once horrible curly hair is now virtually frizz-free ringlets. Now I get compliments on my hair all the time! Straighten your hair- be happy for a day, learn to manage your curly hair- be happy for life!

- To style your hair using the curly-girl method you will need gel and conditioner at the minimum. Some less useful, but still nice stuff would be a blowdryer, a diffuser (reduces frizz in curly/wavy hair when used with dryer), and a microfiber hair turban (to dry wet hair while sleeping or in the morning).

-The main philosophy of the curly-girl method is to not use shampoo. This may sound unhygenic but it has actually made my hair less oily and dandruffy. Most shampoos contain some of the same chemicals found in laundry detergent (aka sulfates). They dry out curly hair. Also you shouldn't brush your curly hair dry because it damages the hair and makes it poof.

- Massaging of the scalp with conditioner to remove dirt is all that is needed. It will clean everything but super clingy silicones (read more about this at one of the websites) . Then rinse and spread conditioner on the outside layer of hair and the hair at the nape of your neck. Gently comb tangles out with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and rinse. Do not brush/comb your hair after this point because it wil disturb the curl pattern (make sure you already have a part). It is also important to use gel on sopping wet hair and scrunch the hair. Then let your hair air dry or use a blowdryer with a diffuser. Do not touch the hair while it is drying or it will frizz!

- Use a moisturizing conditioner, such as Aussie Moist Conditioner. The combo of products that I use daily is Garnier Fuctis Sleek and Shine Leave In Cream, LA Looks Sports Gel, and Aussie Tizz No Frizz Gel, but there are more conditioners, gels, etc. on the websites. Most moms are excited when their daughters want to wear their hair naturally and will buy them more products - that's what happened to me when I went curly ;). The products listed above can all be found at walgreens and are cheap too.

- Your hair may seem worse at first, but it is just adjusting. This takes 2 to 4 weeks begin working. This is hard to do if you don't read the book, or at least visit the websites. Naturally curly hair can be beautiful! Hope this helps!

Don't worry about it. Sometimes the curly hair can attract any one. You jast learn of liking your lovely hair and you will not have any problem about it. Have a good day..

I have really super curly hair, how do you straighten it?

convince ur mom 2 spend a little more %26amp; go in for rebonding..by this your hair wil remain straight for 6-10 months depending on the maintainence..You would not have to straighten your hair agn %26amp; agn..My mom had recently gone in for rebonding %26amp; it worked wonders for her..so try it out.

I have really super curly hair, how do you straighten it?

Hi Sarah!

Here in the Philippines, the best to straighten your hair is through MILK REBONDING. I am not quite sure if milk rebonding is available in your country. It is better than any other rebonding methods because the hair designers use milk plus less damaging chemicals. Also, try to use hair-straightening serums. The product is just like a hair conditioner but I guarantee that it's not oily or greasy. And yes, don't use irons or dryers, or else you'll end up having frizzier hair.

I have really super curly hair, how do you straighten it?

I can't believe your straightener doesn't work. Mine was about $40, but it straightened my hair wonderfully. It felt so smooth and silky.

My hair is so thick, frizzy , and curly. I couldn't believe the difference. My dad told me that it made me look older though and I haven't used it since. I'm in early 40's, don't need to look older.

My hair is so naturally curly other people that seen me with absolutely straight hair said they almost didn't recognize me.

In high school I blow dried my hair as much as possible to make it straight. I wish we'd had straighteners back then. Maybe a more expensive straightener would help. I got mine at a beauty shop supply store.

I have really super curly hair, how do you straighten it?

People are struggling to maintain and grow hair and still unable to suceed.

Uu want to spoil what you are blessed with.

Stop everything. No more straightening business for U. You will become mad.

Be ur natural self.

I have really super curly hair, how do you straighten it?

you actually can use your cheap hair straightner. Divide your hair into smaller chunks and pieces and use the straightner on each "chunk", and run it through it several times. start with the back moving up to top and sides. and don't use styling gel, if your wearing it down, that will make your hair curly. but do put the serum in it, before you straightner. so brush tiny sections and then straightner and repeat! and dont wash your hair everyday, that just dries it out.

good luck!

I have really super curly hair, how do you straighten it?

well what you have to do is you should go to Argos and buy a straightener and then put the plug in and wait for at least 5 minutes to get hot and then start to straighten your hair and at the end it will be straight

I have really super curly hair, how do you straighten it?

I completely understand straightening curly hair... I like my curly hair alot, actually, and yet sometimes it's just way too out of control and it needs a Straightened period of time.

I only have a 20 dollar straightener but it'sworth it; it's a Conair one, with bronze colored plates and built in comb attachments.

Don't use styling gel; it's a waste and it makes curly hair sticky and more likely to curl

Citre Shine is a good serum to use on either straightened or naturally curly hair.

The best way to deal with crazy hair is to make sure it's really really moisturized in the shower; always use conditioner and find a balance between it being moisturized but not greasy. Then, tie it up in a low ponytail (with a soft hairband or scrunchie so it won't dent) and then add an extra dime sized amount of cheap conditioner to it while it's still damp. Add the serum and then go in small pieces while straightening

Good luck!

I have really super curly hair, how do you straighten it?

Oh sweety i feel for you. i don't know how long your hair is? My hair is so curly and down to my lower waist now, i hated my hair growing up. the longer my hair grew, the higher and poofer it got. i use l'oreal remix, but i dilute it on my hands before spreading it through my hair, they also make another one but it's so thin i go through the jar like it's water. try it. if you let you hair grow the weight will hold it down a bit, i don't wash my hair every day, but i do wet it and put a good conditioner through it. can't go a day unless i slick it down and bun it. however through my success, still sometimes my hair will be nice in the morning and through out the afternoon at work it poofs anyway, it's all trial and error and we like it or not have this hair. good luck. enjoy it. becasue other people love it. no matter how big your hair gets at the end of the day.

ps if you really want it straight pay a hairdreser 40-80 and she'll do it to perfection, but one drop of moisture in the air and its gone.

i can spend two hours with a straightening iron, not anymore, i have other things to do

might as well sign off as, your sister FRo, lol

I have really super curly hair, how do you straighten it?

well i too have really curly hair, so i understand your issue! you just have to decide when the weather is right to straighten your hair. i cannot straighten my hair when it is humid or rainy outside so i put it up in a pony tail.

hope this helped you some??? --shortnsweet--

Desperate for a new hair style please read?

OK, i have very long curly hair. I am thinking about getting it layered and doing the top layer almost blonde and darkening the bottom, but I'm not sure how that would look. Has anyone seen this color combo on curly hair. Also, does anyone know how to do this at home?

Desperate for a new hair style please read?

yes the color you chose will look incredible, but if i was you i would have a professional complete that for you or you might end up with too much blonde or uneven color. On curly hair it will look so FAT.

Desperate for a new hair style please read?

I did that with my hair a little while ago...mine is wavy. It can look cool on the right cut, but it can also look kinda weird if the layers aren't blended well together (like a shelf of light hair on top of a shelf of dark hair). I'd get it done professionally, but if you'd prefer to do yourself, get a friend to help you. Oh, and get the haircut first...see how you like it before going to color! And don't go crazy cutting it all off! It grows back, but never as fast as you might hope - take it from me, I'm still waiting to grow back mine. :-)

Desperate for a new hair style please read?

um.. it will look okay. but if you really want to dye your curly hair into blonde: if you have tanned or dark skin, wear light colored clothes, if you have light skin, wear a dark color. I promise you it will look fab! But if to you it doesn't, looks doesn't matter. it is what you are inside. ;)

Desperate for a new hair style please read?

I would absolutely recommend seeing a professional hair stylist. Recently I wanted to lighten the color of my hair and it came out awful the roots looked orangy and the rest dark. I ended up having to go see my hair stylist so it could get fixed.

If your hair is very very curly I would suggest not layering it for it will just add puff to your hair.

I have seen the color "combo" of light and dark on straight hair not on curly. If you are going to do this I think it would look better if you blow dried it straight.

Desperate for a new hair style please read?

i would recommend going to a pro. layers are great for naturally curly hair, just make sure to do long layers... if you go too short with the layers, the shorter layers of your hair can kind-of "poof" out to the sides too much. also, maybe consider blonde highlights on the top to start with... highlights are easier to maintain because you won't have a definite line when your natural color starts to grow back in like you would have with one solid shade of blonde. if you like the blonde, you can always add more later.

Desperate for a new hair style please read?

If you are going to do that I would straiten my hair if I were you. but I dont no much about dying hair or thang like that.

I also have very curly hair. Here's what I do to help define the curl: I use multiple anti-frizz products, my favorites are Frizz Ease Dream Curls and the anti-frizz serum. I've also used a "styling milk" that works great too (can't remember the brand, but it's something you can find at the drugstore and comes in a black pump bottle).

I work the serum through, starting with the ends, then spray on the Dream Curls. Using the styling milk or similar texture anti-frizz product, I take sections of hair, about 1/2" or so around, and twirl them around my finger, working all over the top and some underneath. You could do this with all of you hair, but it just takes too long for me to bother. Then I scrunch with a towel to get the curls nice and springy.

I've been using this technique for a while and saw that Nick Arrojo, from TLC's What Not to Wear, has done the same thing with really curly hair. It helps keep the curls defined which is what I notice about the picture you posted of what you want your hair to look like.

I blow dry my hair with a diffuser because my is fine and lays too flat for my taste. I think you could let yours air dry, or dry it partially with the diffuser and let it air dry the rest of the way.

Good luck.

I sooooo completely feel you on this, I have curly hair also. What I've found works best for me to keep it from going like that is moisture moisture moisture and a little bit of mousse or gel. I use Dove intense therapy moisture shampoo and conditioner, but only shampoo every other time I condition. I also use Dove's intense moisture leave in spray conditioner daily. Gel versus mousse is all personal preference, but the combination of all that moisture combined with the control agent (I use super hold) helps the hair to stay slightly more controlled, and flat when it dries. Or at least that's the experience I've had. Good luck!

Hair . . . . . . . . . . . . . CURLY!!?

how should i style it every day i want it cute but not hard to do and if not how can i get my hair straight like in a salon

Hair . . . . . . . . . . . . . CURLY!!?

I have naturally curly hair too. The best way I have found is to let it curl naturally. While wet, use a curl activating cream and mix it with a silicone serum to give it a healthy but touchable look. Do not brush it and only use a comb in the shower. To straighten, invest in a good ceramic flat iron...trust me it is worth $100-$200 for a good one (Either CHI or GHD are good brands) because it will actually keep your hair straight without causing as much damage. The key to straightening your hair is to dry it first with an ionic hair dryer, brushing it smooth as you go. You will want to use some heat protecting smoothing serum to help reduce damage. Then flat iron your hair in 1" to 1 1/2" sections. I usually wear my hair curly in the summer or whenever it rains/is humid outside, and in the winter keep it straight. Just remember depending on how curly your hair is the more humidity will affect it, so consider the weather before you spend all that time and effort straightening!!!

Hair . . . . . . . . . . . . . CURLY!!?

There are all sorts of thing to do with your hair.

Here is how you get a shiny wavy look or curly hair and is super fast (with out a curling iron).

I have super strait hair. What I like to do is put my hair in ballerina buns or french braids overnight. Braids will make your hair wavy and buns will make it curly. You can make different size buns and braids to change up the style. Then you put hair spray on it. When you wake up take it out but DO NOT brush it simply run your fingers through it with some hair gel. Wow you have beautiful curls with out using curlers. I repeat DO NOT brush if you do you will have a frizzy mess(But the whey your taking you might like it give it a try).

Braids will give you a smooth wave while buns give you curls.

To get your bangs out of the way try clipping them to the side or clipping them strait back away from you forehead

If you don't know how to do a braid or bun check out thees sites.

Girls: i have a hair question...?

i have thick, curly hair; but i straighten it regurarly. i can get it perdy straight but i want it straighter. i have brown hair; shoulder lenght and i was also wondering what would be a good kind of hair styling for my type of hair. i need a haircut so what kind should i get?

Girls: i have a hair question...?

omg!i sorrdove have the eggszact same hair.i have thick wavy brown hair.to make it better i straighten intell it looks thin. and it works 2.long and straight hair is in .dont get a hair cut

Girls: i have a hair question...?

Get it permentally straightened! Side bangs and long layers! With Highlights

Girls: i have a hair question...?

Get a bob haircut.

Girls: i have a hair question...?

By a "Chi" straightening iron! I have thick curly hair also and it works great! They cost about $120 but WELL worth every penny!

Girls: i have a hair question...?

long layers and if you want it straight for 6 months get a reverse perm.

Girls: i have a hair question...?

whatever you do don't get a perm or relaxer..........you just have to get it professionally straightened

Girls: i have a hair question...?

hey! to get your hair the absolute straightest, wash and blow dry before you straighten. i also find it helps to put bumble and bumble hair straighting oil in before i blow dry, it protects it from the heat. I'm sure you know, but only EVER use ceramic straighteners, yes they cost more money but are such an investment for your hair (i find CHIs work the best, but there are lots of good brands.) if you feel your hair is thick beyonde control, ask your hairdresser to thin it out a little bit. i would not recommend going any shorter BC it would just make your hair bigger, not something you really want. for hairstyles, side part always, only Jennifer Aniston can pull of the severe middle part. let your hair grow a little longer, but if your over 30 keep it shorter. also, to get rid of frizz, deep condition once a week. good luck!!

Girls: i have a hair question...?

Then get it chemically straightened trust me it helps even on your type of hair. After you get it chemically straightened get a long layer cut it will look hot.GOOD LUCK.

I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding and I have curly hair, how should I have my hair done for the wedding?

Since most weddings are a formal occasion, having your hair in an up-do seems appealing. Also, since the weather maybe hot at that time, it works out (wearing it up). However, if you choose to get it professionally done, they can recreate it into any style you want with curls or straightened. It's great that you have long hair, it gives you more options for styles. I would recommend looking thru magazines to get a more visual idea of what you like.

If you want to show off your long locks, but still be formal... wear the top half up (pinned with barrels - ask a stylists) and have the rest hanging down your back.

You might also want to consider the hairstyles that the other bridesmaids are opting for. The bride might be hoping for uniformity (same dresses, hairdos, jewelry, etc.).

I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding and I have curly hair, how should I have my hair done for the wedding?

A nice updo with some clips or something...?

I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding and I have curly hair, how should I have my hair done for the wedding?

some up, some down, with a pretty hairpiece or something.

I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding and I have curly hair, how should I have my hair done for the wedding?

If the wedding is very formal then maybe an updo will be more appropriate, but if not then up or down sounds good. I would wear an updo just because I'd probably sweat with my hair down outdoors in late summer, which would feel gross, but if you don't have such concerns then go with what's more comfortable. You can even change hairstyles between the wedding %26amp; reception if you bring your stylist along so they can quickly change your hair after the ceremony, or if you fix your hair in a way that makes it easy for you to switch styles.

Suitable men hair style?

well, for starters i want to know what type of hair do women prefer on men? long or short?

Currently, I have short, dry but not too curly hair. But not exactly wavy either. I want to look great (new hairstyle) for an upcoming event, but the thought of dying my hair is out of the question. Any ideas to help me out?

Suitable men hair style?

I don't think that women in general have a preference. It's really up to each individuals tastes. Try looking through magazines ...think about what past hairstyles you've really liked. Take any ideas to your stylist and ask her to TELL you what products to use and then have her WATCH you style your hair so she may offer suggestions. Is there anything more annoying than getting home and not being able to recreate the stylists work?

p.s. buy the products...a little bit goes a long way...you'll probably change hairstyles before you use it all.

Suitable men hair style?

short flat top

Suitable men hair style?

i love the redneck style.. flipped to the side an flipped up in the back..thats wat all the guys have down here

Suitable men hair style?

i myself perfer long hair. my bf has long strait dark black hair and it drives me crazy!. but because i like the rocker type boys and he plays quitar and etc. but the emo hair cut is always hot too, you just have to know how to pull it off with out looking like your trynig to hard. and the simple short spiky hair is always simple but still makes you look younge

Suitable men hair style?

AS A WOMAN I PREFER MEN W/ SHORT HAIR, LONG HAIR IS OUT NOW .I WOULD GO TO YOUR BARBER AND ASK HIM WHAT WOULD LOOK GOOD ON YOU OR TAKE A LOOK AT SOME MAGIZINES AT SOME STYLES YOU LIKE.......GOOD LUCK MAN

Suitable men hair style?

I think you should keep it short and not to wavy but put just a Little bit of gel in just to give it that wet look but not to much ok. Then you will look just fine for where ever you are going.

Suitable men hair style?

I could't tell you without a pic, sorry.

Suitable men hair style?

long hair. (to the eyebrows really) Like Zac Efron's and Jesse McCartney's

Suitable men hair style?

SPIKE my man. Then you don't have to worry about it being too dry or too wavy.....

Suitable men hair style?

short

Suitable men hair style?

i hate long hair on men they look stupid

Suitable men hair style?

i don't like really short hair on guys, and i don't like really long hair either. i like in between, where it's just below a the ears.

Suitable men hair style?

I WOULD SUGGEST A FADE. THEY ARE VERY IN TODAY AND YOU CAN CHOOSE HOW SHORT OR LONG YOU WANT IT. WITH CURLY HAIR I WOULD SAY SHORT THOUGH. AND THAT STYLE FITS INTO ANY OCCASION.

Suitable men hair style?

short, but with enough hair to scrunch and give it some texture.

Game time Pony Tail-

1. Make a half pont tail by gathering the hair from the top and sides of your head and secure.

2.) Take a handful of hair from each side and combine with tail by securing with an eleastic.

3. Take the remaining hair and combine it with the first and second (now combined) tail.

What are some of the best ways to style hair once you've stopped relaxing it?

I just stopped relaxing my hair last spring. Before the relaxer I had thick curly hair. I want to learn how to deal with my hair now that I've stopped chemically treating it while i wait for my real hair to grow back in, right now I have to types of hair on my head thick curly hair and small waves. Any good hairstyle or product recommendations anyone?

What are some of the best ways to style hair once you've stopped relaxing it?

In the same situation- I'd suggest overall wavieness which can be acheived by using a hair polish found at a beauty supply store. It helps to prevent frizz and defines waves or curls WITHOUT stickiness or flakes or hardness.

I'd wash it every or every other day too- when going natural thats the one thing you can do now! There are many GREAT smelling shampoos out too- suave has many attractive flavors and the hair polish normally doesn't compete with the smell.

What are some of the best ways to style hair once you've stopped relaxing it?

let your hair dry natrually the go over it with a curling iron a little bit

What are some of the best ways to style hair once you've stopped relaxing it?

There are many things you can do, but getting a trim every 6 weeks to cut away the relaxed ends will keep your hair from breaking off and help your hair grow faster and healthier. You can try braids or 2 strand twists, but I would definitely recommend consulting with a stylist who specializes in natural hair. There is also product line called Kera Care that is excellent for your hair care. I believe you can order their products through www.avalon.com. Make sure you use good hair products (good does not necessarily mean the most expensive!), keep your ends trimmed, and avoid applying too much heat.

I wear my hair natural and I switch up each week. One week I will wear it curly (two strand twist with a good mousse and sit under the dryer, then take them down and go), the next week, I will shampoo, condition, blow dry and flat iron. I wrap my hair each night during this week to prevent from flat ironing every day. Hope this helps, good luck and be patient, it will get easier !

What are some of the best ways to style hair once you've stopped relaxing it?

roller sets, or braids. You can still get the permed look with a good flat ironing, oil, and a wrap. Any exposure to humidity will zap that, tho.

What are some of the best ways to style hair once you've stopped relaxing it?

Primarily, I would suggest rollersetting. And if your hair is still short, work with that lenghth and wear a "twa": (teenie weenie afro). You can add life to natural hairstyles by pulling in back with headband, or just cornrowing the front and leaving the back out. That works great with all lengths. And lastly I would not suggest KeraCare like one the previous answerers suggested. If you need more suggestions: www.nappturality.com

What are some ways to get your hair beautifully curly?

I am going to a party in a week and need my hair to look 1920's style curls, do you have any idea's?

What are some ways to get your hair beautifully curly?

Roll your hair in small rollers while it is wet. Spray really good with a lot of very strong hold hairspray. Let the curls dry COMPLETELY before you take them down. Carefully unroll them and spray them again after you unroll and before you style. Then style with your hands and not a brush or comb. This way the curls will stay in and not get frizzy or fall out. Good luck.

What are some ways to get your hair beautifully curly?

curling iron, hot rollers, perm!!!!!!!!

Short curly wavy emo hair?

I have short, curly, and wavy hair. It is about 3 inches all around and i want to know how to style it to make it into an emo style without straightening it. Can someone tell me how?

Short curly wavy emo hair?

The top haircut is a short curly emo cut. It uses a curling iron to smooth the curls and is over the forehead.

http://www.hairstyleshow.com/curly-hairs...

Or you could use a hairdryer with an attached brush some silk gel and brush all of your hair forward and then to the side until the curls are tamed and your hair is dry The straightening only lasts until you wash it. Not a permanent straightening.

Short curly wavy emo hair?

Just part ot to the side. maybe throug a coule colors in it and wear cute little girl hair clips.

Short curly wavy emo hair?

dont be emo but use gel!

Short curly wavy emo hair?

let it flow down in your eyes on one side. thats what my friend does. *it looks awesome too*

Short curly wavy emo hair?

i agree with letting it grow out over one of your eyes (if you're looking for an "emo" style), but there are some other alternatives that you can use to reach the same effect. very nice looking fauxhawks can be achieved with curly or wavy hair and that's a really stylish option. and there's a lot of products you can use to tame your curls such as styling wax and pomades, which usually look best when applied to wet hair.

New school hair style?

i'm going in to high school and i wanna try side bangs but i dont know if it would look good or not. if it wouldnt look good what would. i wear my hair curly all the time except when i get really bored. but if i had side bangs i would straighten them. and i just dyed my hair red.

http://www.bailie-jo.piczo.com

And i would straighten them

New school hair style?

uhhmmmm how about shaving all your hair and a.k.a B-O-L-D...

its popular now, just look at Brittney Spears...

she knows the best... hehehehehehe....

naaahhhh... just joking...

well, i prefer you dyed it brown....

well, thats all i can say...

New school hair style?

Yes, almost anybody can pull of side bangs. I mean, everybody I know looks great with them. I have them too, and I have REALLY stubborn stick straight hair but because they were cut correctly, they look really nice.

So yeah I say go for it! :)

New school hair style?

your hair looks best when its curly i think. If you straighten it use a flat iron and take the time to get it real real straight, otherwise wear it naturally curly. side bangs would look good on you. The color your hair is in the pictures looks really good on you

New school hair style?

I would try it and see if you like it...hair grows back and side bangs looks good on everybody I've see. I kinda like your hair better when it's curly though, and keeping up bangs takes a lot of effort, so if you're up for it then go for it! I think you should try a new hair color while you're at it...maybe black or dark brown chocolately shade? Something different, your hair looks dyed already so I thought I'd suggest something assuming you're into hair dying?

New school hair style?

You should do it. Almost everyone looks good with them. Even though bangs are just a small change, it really adds something nice. I think you will love them.

New school hair style?

ummm i think you should leave your hair how it is.

btw i prefer it curly. really nice!

please answer mine :)

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

thanks

New school hair style?

i think you would look nice with side bangs, especially when you curl your hair like in the second picture, and straighten the bangs with a little curve at the ends. it would look cute :)

New school hair style?

I would say either dont do the sidebangs and straighten your hair (or maybe straight perm ?) , or keep yr hair curly %26amp;gel it . I dont know if sidebangs would work for yr type of hair .

I wanna get my curly hair completely straight, Can I do a Chemical Straightening if I've done b

I feel my curls are too much work to style, so I want a chemical straightening. BUT I HAVE BLEACHED MY HAIR BEFORE. I DYED IT RED LAST MONTH. I LIKE HAVING MY HAIR BLONDE BUT BLEACH AND RELAXER ARE A DANGEROUS COMBINATION. What should I do? I WILL GET A PROFESSIONAL!

I wanna get my curly hair completely straight, Can I do a Chemical Straightening if I've done bleach before?

I have bleached hair which I straighten with my hair straightner usually every 2nd day. If I leave it natural, it looks frizzy and unstyled. I have spoken to 2 different hairdressers, one said there is no way she would touch my hair due to it being bleached. The other hairdresser said she would do it, but the results would,nt be as effective due to having bleached hair. She says my hair would be straight but it would be frizzy still. So I would still need to use my hair straightner to eliminate the frizz or use a strong hair serum to tame it down. Im still thinking If I should get it done or not. Anyway - good luck!

I wanna get my curly hair completely straight, Can I do a Chemical Straightening if I've done bleach before?

It was a month ago. It's fine. Your hair is repairing itself now, and, if you wait two more weeks (and deep condition), nothing will go wrong if you get it straightened. Relax.

I wanna get my curly hair completely straight, Can I do a Chemical Straightening if I've done bleach before?

Bleached hair doesn't repair itself. IF it's only been a month since you bleached it, then the only part thats NOT bleached at this point is the roots.

I would NOT risk getting it straightened yet. Let your hair grow out and keep trimming the ends. Once its grown out, then think about having it straightened.

You are right, straighteners plus bleach could be a deadly combination. You may end up losing your hair to split ends and breakage or even falling out.

Believe it or not, a lot of men actually prefer curls. If you have naturally curly shoulder length or longer hair, the best way to curl it is to shampoo/condition it, then put it up in a pony tail on top of your head. Wind it up a few times and secure it. Let it dry overnight. Take your hair down and voila! Curly hair! Add a bit of gel and hairspray and it'll stay curly all day.

Hope this helps!

I want a new hair style...?

i have really thick wavy/curly hair. i like side swept bangs and that type of thing. but the shorter i cut my hair, the curlier/frizzier it gets. so i'm afraid if i get bangs it will curl up a lot and look really stupid. i have a flat iron and i don't mind straightening it sometimes but i don't want to everyday, because i don't want to dry it out. anyway here are 2 pictures where you can see my hair.

I want a new hair style...?

cut all of your hair off then ........

I want a new hair style...?

Maybe an updo or shoulder length cut and high lights

I want a new hair style...?

Go to a proffesional stylist and get a chemical straightner, then go to a beauty supply shop and purchase a hot iron called Chi or Maxi Glide. By a good shiny balm and add that to your hair before you hot iron it.

I want a new hair style...?

If u really want bangs u should get some hair gel to keep it down or get any hair product from wal-mart or another store near u and trust me they make stuff for that problem

stop f*cking labeling everything / everyone.

its fuc*ing annoying..

a PREP is someone who goes to a private school

emo means ******* emotional. not someone with colors in their hair.

Straight bangs or side bangs?

I have curly hair-http://www.curly-hair-styles-magazine.co...

BTW thats not me in the pics.

I have side bangs and its not trouble straightening them but now I kinda want bangs straight across my forehead lke this-http://outa-control.tripod.com/sitebuild...

I've been told it'll look ok, will it? Please help and if possible please add pic. Thanx = )

Straight bangs or side bangs?

Go ahead and try it! It's only hair and it will grow back.

Plus, If you don't like the straight bangs, you can always sweep them over to the side until they grow out in a couple weeks.

Straight bangs or side bangs?

With curly hair straight bangs will not look good. Not unless you straighten then curl it with a curlying iron.

Straight bangs or side bangs?

i think you look good with straigt bangs esspecially if you have curly hair

Straight bangs or side bangs?

go with side bangs i think they are more stylish these days!

Straight bangs or side bangs?

the person who will give you the best answer is your stylist... they can tell what will look better on your face...

i have side bangs i wanted ones that went straight across but was advised by my styliest that it would not suit the shape of my face and as well for the length of my hair

Straight bangs or side bangs?

Deffo side. Staright aren't that nice.

xx

Straight bangs or side bangs?

whatever you like best! i know that side bangs are more popular today and i like them better but straight across are cute too! do whatever you think is best, if yoou get them straight across you can probably wear them both ways anyway.

Straight bangs or side bangs?

That 2nd picture link doesn't work for me...

But the thing about straight bangs is that it boxes in your face. So, if you have a square face to begin with, straight-cut bangs will only accentuate that more.

Also, having your hair parted down the center will divide your facial features right down the center and bring them out. That is, if you love your nose, go for the center part; if you think your nose could be a bit smaller, part that hair to the side.

It all depends on the shape of your face, jaw, and features.

You can also look around here: http://au.answers.yahoo.com/answers2/fro...

Best of Luck!

Straight bangs or side bangs?

ask your mom to help you with that

Straight bangs or side bangs?

depends on your face shape I think. Also your forehead size and all. I had straight bangs for a while but my forehead is kinda small and they always covered my eyes and I was basically always shaking them out of my face.

Ask your stylist! He/she would know the best

Straight bangs or side bangs?

It depends. Straight, straightened bangs could look okay, depending on your face shape. I like side bangs, though.

Straight bangs or side bangs?

Straight bangs or side bangs? you better not be talking sexual here....

I have a series of hair questions.?

I want a new hairstyle. I want it to be short and I already no what kind of hair style I want too. I just don't know if I should get it yet. I am a kid, 12, and am some what lazy. The hair style is straight but my hair is curly. So I would have to re-straighten and wash my hair everyday. Should I get it?

If I do get it what shampoo and conditioner should I get?

My hair is very curly is dry at the scalp but the rest of my hair is dry. And the shampoo and conditioner would have to take care of heat damage.

Is there any other hair products I should use? I f should then tell me what the brand is and where to get it.

Thank You!!!

I have a series of hair questions.?

I think you should choose another hair style. I, who have curly hair and understand the tendency to lean towards straighter styles, think it is ridiculous to straighten on a daily basis. Absolutely ridiculous. I straighten my hair about once a month, sometimes more. Try to find a way to make your natural hair look good.

Looking for a good hair style with color?

I want to change my hair style. I finally got a good straightening iron, since my hair is curly. I want to get an emo, goth,or punk hair cut, and btw, I'm no poser. I'm already into these kind of ideas with my curls, but now I want to make it official with my hair. So where can I find good hairstyles? also, what do I tell the stylist? do I show em a pic or what? also, I wanna get some bleached spots so I can put semi-permanent colors in those spots. Where should these spots be? and when I say spots i don't mean circles. I mean any shape anywhere. thank you for your help

Help! hair style ?

i definatly want the skunk look but then i dont know if i will look good in it.

ive dyed my hair dark brown, and im asian with straight/curly hair.

i want to dye the insides of my hair blonde? and get that skunk look. help! should i do it? or get a different colour then blonde?

Help! hair style ?

the only problem with dying your dark hair blonde, is the maintenance of keeping up with it, which can get expensive, every ones hair that I've colored lighter always goes back to dark because its less maintenance.

Help! hair style ?

it depends what shape ur head is cause if its round then definitely NO

Help! hair style ?

diff than blonde

Help! hair style ?

Well i think that you go should go ahead and do the skunk look but before you do make sure that you imagine the hair style first and ask some of your close friends and see if it really looks good for you.

Help! hair style ?

Why would you dye your hair blonde if you're Asian? Asian people are beautiful black hair. You've just messed up your hair dyeing it brown. Don't let the damage get out of control by dyeing it blonde. It's gonna look really bad.

My advice: Go back to natural black.

WHAT HAIR STYLE SHOULD I USE FOR MY DANCE CLASSES?

I am going to start dance classes soon, and my dance school wants your hair in a ponytail or bun. Does anybody have any website links that have pictures of hairstyles I can do for my dance classes that looks good and doesnt come out? I have curly hair so I need something that holds my hair back really well.

Thanks!

WHAT HAIR STYLE SHOULD I USE FOR MY DANCE CLASSES?

i dont really know any websites, but try hair magazines. if you want ponytail holders that work rly well and wont come loose try these:

http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/cvs/gateway/de...

if you hair's curly do a bun; if its straight, a ponytail. for curly hair use hairspray one the top of your head (after you put your hair up) and kinda pat it down. for straight hair spray it into your hands and smooth your hair down with it. this will get rid of flyaways and help keep any stray hair from falling into your face. if you want to add something cute do a pouf with a couple berets.

WHAT HAIR STYLE SHOULD I USE FOR MY DANCE CLASSES?

there are a bunch of magazines at a bookstore that you can get.

WHAT HAIR STYLE SHOULD I USE FOR MY DANCE CLASSES?

Hi there!

Try this website, has tons of pictures =)

I have curly hair...?

i wanted to know how sould i style it because i can not really straighten it any suggestion..?

I have curly hair...?

if it isnt all that curly or the curls r kind of dull... then what i do after I put gel/mouse in my hair and let it dry (to make it more life like) is to get a small (1/2 inch) curling iron and get little small pieces and curl them in your hair. Doesnt have to be that many just a few on the top layers helps a lot.

I have curly hair...?

That's a tough one. It depends on how old you are and what rules your parents have about hair and make-up. You can get an appropriate cut for your age and wear it naturally or you can always put your hair in a ponytail.

I have curly hair...?

put your hair in a messy bun or put it up with a headband or a flower above your ear.

I have curly hair...?

I love the product curls rock! It works great!

Hair style??????

i always wear my hair curly or straight any other ideas i dont wanna wear it up so keep that in mind my hair is medium in length past my shoulders please help

Hair style??????

my hair is medium length too. i doo the same thing. straight or curly. i recently found out that if you take your staightner and at the ends flip it up, it creates a layerd look and makes it look alot fuller

Quick and easy hair styles for school.?

for school im always doing the same hairstyle. its either in a ponytail, scruffy bun, down or curly, but i want some new ideas. Does anyone hav any.

My hair is blonde and brown, quite thick, has layers and bangs and it below my shoulders by like 2cm.

Quick and easy hair styles for school.?

hey i've had exactly that same problem! heres some ideas:

1.Put your hair into a side pontail, then clip up your bangs. Leave two strands by your face for a pretty affect!

2. A messy high ponytail if you like to make a statement. This is very cute and goes with a lot of outfits. Sweep your bangs to the side (if you have any) and there you go!

3. Scrunch it. After showering flip your hair repeatedly to get the water out and to give it more volume. Then put gel on your hands and comb your hair with your fingers. Then, starting at the ends of your hair, raise it towards the roots, letting it fold in your hands. When it is at the roots, squeeze! Repeat this until all of your hair is in pretty waves, and preferably until dry.

4.Side braid. Simply braid your hair at the side and turns out pretty cute!

5. Make a low messy bun and equip with a cute head band! Very adorable!

6. Cute waves: After showering at night, braid your hair in french braids. In the morning undo them and viola! you have beautiful waves!

7. Lose braids. Seperate your hair into two sections and braids losely. Put the front of your hair up in the good old clip on top of your head. Its a very cute and relaxed hairstlye.

8. If you have around fifteen minutes, try a fishtail braid. Its classy and extremely adorable!

Thanks 4 listening!! Hope you get more ideas!!!!!!

Quick and easy hair styles for school.?

You could straighten your hair the night before, or put in braids so that the next morning your hair will be nice%26amp;wavy.

Quick and easy hair styles for school.?

My hair sounds the exact same way! Alright, so, I think it'd be really cute for you to make it wavey. That always looks good on everybody. What you can do, is take a shower before school ( which i hate doing, but its worth it for cute hair! ) and then towel dry it, and then get some gel or good mousse and just rub it through your fingers and scrunch.

Good Luck!

I hate my hair. what styles can i use to liven it up?

my hair is medium, and its curly ( but i straighten every day with a straightener)

I hate my hair. what styles can i use to liven it up?

You can make a sophisticated ponytail by wearing it low, wrapping a section of your hair around the elastic and securing it with a pin. You can also use a ribbon for a touch of whimsy.

Hair bands are in this season. Plain thin ones are very classic. Or you can use a scarf for a retro '60s look. You can embellish plain ones with hot glue and buttons or beads for a casual or evening look.

You can make your hair into a neat bun. For a plain but finished look, pin down strays w/ hair pins that have tortoise shell on one side. (Goody makes them.) For a dressier effect use hair pins w/ pearls or rhinestones.

You can braid your hair %26amp; wear the braid down. Or you can loosely braid your hair %26amp; create a bun.

Allure %26amp; InStyle are really good magazines for hair style ideas.

I hate my hair. what styles can i use to liven it up?

here's an idea, instead of straightening it, leave it to it's natural curl and srunch it! straightening is really bad for it anyways, i know for a fact you will go bald when you get older!!

I hate my hair. what styles can i use to liven it up?

I have Naturally Curly hair as well and mine is a medium like yours. My hair is a red/brown color natural as well and I tend to like my hair up when I am out cause of the brushing it with my hands so much. So what I do is a quick twist corn row that I can make fan out to make my face look a bit thinner and it keeps my hair out of my face all day. I have tried bobby pinning it, clips, and I play with my curls a bit I can have them big if I use a curling iron so that I again don't get the kinky curls that I hate so much getting frizzy. My daughter also has the curls and I love them since they are not mine and she is a blond like her dad. So I like them and she hates them and she is 5 so I have found that putting the curls up out of her face is working more on the frizz she hates too. SO just sit in the mirror and play its a great way to see what you can really do. You can also ask a few friends to help you out get a magazine and pick out something you like and try it. I had to learn how to fix my own hair since I am the only one with curls (other then my daughter) in my family.

Have some fun

I hate my hair. what styles can i use to liven it up?

hha a get it cut shorter with cute layers

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

I have very curly hair and it definitely depends on your hair type, so experimenting with it is essential-- it took me years to figure out how to deal with my hair.

Having said that, this is what I do (just as an idea of my hair type, my yahoo icon is pretty much acurate as a cartoon version of my hair)

I wash my hair at night. You can do it in the morning, too, I just don't like to because you should not blow dry curly hair! If you must, use a diffuser. I use very little shampoo, and I don't always use it all. Experiment, some people say this does wonders for their hair, some don't like it. But shampoo, in general, just dries out hair, and a really important part of having managable hair is moisturizing it.

I leave in my conditioner for as long as I can, I generally put it in first and then rinse it out at the end of my shower. Then I dry my hair with a t shirt (towels seem to seperate ringlets because they are rough) by squeezing the water out, not by rubbing.

After that I put in leave in conditioner, then curl cream and go to sleep on it really wet, with it spread around my head on the pillow. I've been told that it's good to get a silk pillowcase because a rougher textured pillowcase can also seperate ringlets.

In the morning when I get up I sometimes put gel on it on top of everything else. I use lots of products... this is not neccesarily a good idea, but that's what I do.

I hope some of that works for you!

oh, and someone else mentioned the book 'curly girl' and I definitely second that, it's got a lot of ideas and tips, you can try things and see what works for you, as well as be inspired by all the beautiful pics of curly hair.

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

well it depends When i want curly hair i scrunch it using curls rock by catwalk and totally twisted by herbal essence! or if i want it straight i use my chi to straighten it! is that what you were asking

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

I use a shampoo, conditioner and styling products by TIGI called 'Curls Rock!' and let my hair dry naturally. I'm left with pretty, soft curls that don't get frizzy towards the end of the day!

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

I use John Frieda's Frizz Ease and shrunch it. It really works after a shower, but I would use a diffusuer on your hairdryer or let it air dry. Mine always gets frizzy when I don't.

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

hi girl, i think the natural style of hair is splendid

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

I style my hair in the morning by wetting it with a spray bottle then using moose. I then scrunch it to get the spiral curls more defined. Next, I either pull it half way back and put a clip in or I part my hair on one side and put one of the elastic head bands on.

A lot of the times I straighten my hair also. I know that is a pain, but I like how my hair looks so much better. It takes for ever thought.

If your hair is thick enough I have found that layers or having your hair thinned help as well. I have layers now and I like it better than thinning. I always used to get my hair thinned, but the layers are easier for me.

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

I use Redken color extend shampoo and conditioner every other day (color extend because I dye my hair) and after I get out of the shower I spray VO5 leave-in conditioner all over my hair, then comb it through with a wide-toothed comb. Avoid brushing your hair, it'll make it frizzier and the comb should work well enough. I part my hair where I feel like wearing it for the day (I'll give some style examples and tips at the end) and use the comb to make it lay down on both sides of the part. Then, I use garnier fruitesse curl construct mousse and blow-dry using a diffuser while scrunching. Don't blow dry it completely or it may frizz. Then, I spray Tresemme shine spray on the frizzy spots and finish the style off with Tresemme "take deux" hairspray.

Here are some variations you can try:

Using a comb part your hair diagonally to the side, start at the side of your head and diagonally part your hair towards the center.

Part your hair in the center and blow-dry until it is barely damp, then use your hands to sweep all of your hair into a low ponytail, then clip it using a large "claw" clip on the left or right side.

Part your hair in the center and then pull it "half-up" Then, pull about 1/2" out of the front, so it hangs around your face a little, then pull the rest of the hair (your still holding) into a clip or elastic. NOTE: When you pull it half-up make sure you don't lose your part.

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

I get this stuff called Tigi Catwalk Curls Rock, it works GREAT!!! It doesn't cost a lot either. It's a whole line of products that hydrate your curls, keeps them from getting frizzy, it's not heavy, and it last.

I use it along with a diffuser on low with medium heat

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

I use Pantene everything. Wash your curls in the moring, work a healthy dose of conditioner through them with your fingers. Wait a little, shower the conditioner out, Shake it a little to get the excess water out, then use a little gel worked through with your fingers and go!. Avoid hair dryers. Perfect curls all day long.

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

I spray pantene curl refine spray in my hair after shower %26amp; I use biolage mouse %26amp; it does the trick i pull through some %26amp; let air dry.

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

I wash every OTHER day with Pantene Pro-V Hydrating Curls Shampoo. I condition EVERY day with Pantene Pro-V Hydrating Curls Conditioner. Every time I get out of the shower I use Pantene Pro-V Curl Defining Leave-In Conditioner. Once I apply the leave-in, I re-wrap my hair in a bath towel and leave it to dry like that for 20-25 minutes while I do other things. This helps reduce frizz while adding volume to the root of my hair. I take the towel off and either blow dry with a diffuser or let it air dry. If it's humid or windy I'll use Pantene Pro-V Curl Shaper Anti-Frizz Creme. For a more defined look I'll spray on Pantene Pro-V Frizz Control Treatment before I blow dry.

I have a cowlick on my forehead so I part my shoulder-length hair WITH the cowlick, off-center and it lays pretty well. If I wanted it straight (as if!) I would have to go to a stylist because I am not all about straightening my own hair, it never works right because of the stubborness of the curls!!!

Other products I've used and liked include Tigi CatWalk "Curls Rock" and Matrix Curl Life. I find that NOT shampooing every day and always using a leave-in helps with the frizz and defines my curls for more control. I also like to avoid mousse and gel because i don't like my curls to be sticky or crunchy.

Good luck!

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

Very slowly, lol.

I have very thick, very coarse curly hair, so styling takes heat and time, which is why i always put in a leave in conditioner right out of the shower. This help alleviate some of the inevitable damage. My favorite style is Farrah hair! turned down a notch... or not.

Dry hair, by any means necessary. then i straighten it with my curling iron. I have a straight iron but they're extremely hot and i've found it damages my hair way too much. I'll put in some kind of hair serum to smooth it out a little more. Then i use hot rollers (i know i know more torture) to create a loose smooth curl as opposed to the frizzy tight curls i was "blessed" with. I only leave them in 10 min or so, don't want to create tight ringlets.

Good luck! I feel your pain.

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

Well if I wash my hair the night before I like to add KMScurling product and spray it with hairspray, and just scrunch it and go to bed. Then in the morning I use a leave-in conditioner and I have diluted it with water and put it in a spray bottle, I like to spray my hair down and just re-scrunch it with KMS curling spray....it works really well. The leave-in conditioner is great to help your hair from getting frizzy by adding some more moisture. then I like to finish it off with a little bit of pomade to extra volume and shine! I've worked long and hard on this....and it can be a bit time consuming but it works REALLY really well! I get lots of compliments on my hair!

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

i usually just brush it out after a shower and put frizz products in it and let it lay out by itself.....

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

sometimes straight and sometimes i just use a little mousse and dryer and DONE!!

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

i use herbal essences none of ur frizziness shampoo and conditioner.

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

I use this stuff by Nutrisse called soft curl cream. It is awesome, I just put it in my hair wet and I am good to go. Also, when I have time, I use the cream and then blow dry my hair with a diffuser for the extra volume and curls.

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

there is a really good book with lots of information about curly hair. it is called Curly Girl. i highly reccomend you read that book, it is filled with tons of information that will help you. it tells you how you should wash your hair, dry your hair, it tells you what products to use, and has a bunch of great tips. give it a try, you wont regret it.

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

i use a leave in conditioner then scrunch - if i want volume i will put the side up into a big clip loosey while it dries then let it down and go!!

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

I am one of those kinda wild curly haired girls, so I let my hair mean what I do... I use mouse when I get out of the shower, then a drier with the diffuser, then I squish it in my hand while doing that, then I add Vavoom, finishing spray then I use the Vavoom ultra hold with frizz control.. If you wanna see how I do it I have alot of pictures... good luck

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

I use Pantene's curl products, mainly the mouse and hairspray. I put them in my hair when it is wet then I dry it scrunching it up to help make sure that it dries evenly and that my curls are not too tight. If I leave it wet I use the same products and just pin the front of it to give it a little style! When it is short I like to let it dry on its own and use cute clips or things like that to give it a different look.

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

I use a shampoo and conditioner for curls. Right now, I'm using Herbal Essences Totally Twisted. Then I use "Soft Curls" by Suave (which works surprisingly well for a Suave product) and scrunch that in and use a diffuser on the low setting and bow-dry upside down while scrunching. I finish with a non-aerosol hairspray.

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

i take a shower at night the put it in 6 braids (3 on each side.) and in the morning i take it out and then run a com thew my hair and then IT'S CURLY YA!!!

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

cute results i swear!!! use a styling gel like "Curls Up!" and scrunch it into your hair after tou shower. Then let it dry naturally. GORGEOUS!

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

I comb my hair out and put in frizz ease, i let it dry a little bit for about five minutes and then put in mouse enough to evenly cover my whole head, i let it dry for another five minutes and spray it with hairspray.

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

I usually scrunch it when im done taking a shower, it keeps my curls bouncy and i think it looks really cute

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

any kind of gel or mouse after a shower at night, sleep on it and wake up and put a little hair spray in it. it looks fresh and doesn't give it the lame "wet" look. natural but nice. try it, you'll like it

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

i use a diffuser with curl shaping spray gel...works AWSOMe

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

I use a volumizing (believe it or not) shampoo by Biolage. As well as the conditioner. You should use plenty of conditioner...if your hair still feels dry/coarse after you put your conditioner in, add more! Let it sit in your hair for about 3 minutes, and then rinse with water that is on the cooler side...conditioner works better with cooler water, it leaves your hair shinier and softer. After you get out, put in plenty of leave in conditioner (I love love Biolage anything), comb through your hair %26amp;make sure its a wide-toothed comb, not a brush. Brushes will break your hair make it even more damaged and frizzy. After combing add more leave in conditioner and then put it back up in your towel for as long as you can. The towel helps the leave-in conditioner soak in to your hair. You can either dry it with a diffuser on your hair-dryer or let it dry naturally. Wash your hair every other day and condition every day. You will have healthy, pretty curls if you follow this advice! Good luck!

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

re-curl it with a tiny curling iron. And then bobby-pin each curl to the back of your head.

Curly haired girls: How do you style your hair for best results?

When I want my hair to be really manageable and nice looking I use a flat iron. There are some really nice cheap ones.

Other than that I just put my hair up, but that's just because it's way too unmanageable otherwise.

Cute way to style curly hair?

i have not super curly but curly hair and i have not idea how to style it! i use gel and stuf but once its dry idk wut 2 do w. it!

Cute way to style curly hair?

i use COLOR SEAL it is some kind of oil it actually works pretty good when its dry

Cute way to style curly hair?

I also have curly hair, and find that using a "leave-in conditioner" really helps to keep it hydrated.

In terms of styling it, you actually have plenty of options! You can do cute styles, just experiment with bobby pins and pretty clips. You can really use your curls to your advantage.

Cute way to style curly hair?

pull back in pony tail leaving a strand or two out by back of your neck. take curling iron and recurl them doing same with pony tail spray and crunch... looks really girly.. and cute.

Hair style???

Can anyone suggest a product i can use that a basic store might sell that will give my hair a kind of wet look without making it sticky or hard.

I have long curly hair and when i leave it to dry naturally it will go completely crazy unless i put on some strong gel/hairspray which only makes it sticky.

I don't want my hair to look dry, any suggestions would really be appreciated,

thanx

Hair style???

Try grapeseed oil from the body shop....it doesn't make your hair go oily but it moisturises it and make it look nice and healthy....or just use a nice moisturiser. Or use the pantene leave in conditioner(i don't know...it might only be available in Australia) But both these products cost under 10 dollars in Australian dollars.

Hair style???

Have you tried conditioner for curls? It works for my sister.

If all else fails, go to a hair stylist and ask them.

Hair style???

anything by Paul Mitchell

Hair style???

i tell u what the best thing to use is old fashion VO5 and i mean your hair will really not be frizzy or dry and if you like the wet look it will and it will help your hair in the meantime!!!

Hair style???

use redken leave in conditioner every time after you take a shower. And i also suggest getting the shampoo and conditioner it leaves your hair moist and shiny. You can usually get it at any salon

Hair style???

Redken Glass is supposed to give curls the glossy look without becoming crunchy.

Hair style???

A little hair oil will lessen the frizz or curl and give it a darker look while keeping it moist.

Hair styles? Help!! I'm out of ideas!?

My straightner broke so there basically I am stuck with two hairstyles that I don't need a straightner for a ponytail or curly. And I want more styles until I get a new one for my birthday which is like 3 weeks from now. So if you have any ideas please answer!

Hair styles? Help!! I'm out of ideas!?

Messy buns are cute, especially if you scrunch your hair so that the bun is kind of curly. You can scrunch your hair and then pull half back with a jaw clip. Do you have a blow dryer? You can blow dry your hair with a brush and it will straighten it (not as good as a flat iron, but good enough!)

This is not too good for your hair, but before I got a straightener, I used to use a regular iron to straighten my hair and it works really really good...better than a flat iron. But you have to be careful not to burn your hair. What you do is take a towel in your hand on the underside of your hair and the iron on top and make a downward motion (like you would with a straightener) so you don't burn your hand! Use a lot of hair at a time, so it doesn't burn!

Hair styles? Help!! I'm out of ideas!?

Here in Cali...

Bun %26amp; Bangs. No need for straightner.

Hahha.

Good luckk.

Hair styles? Help!! I'm out of ideas!?

Try instead using your blowdryer and curling your hair with it. I'm sure the change from straight to curly (wavy) is a nice noticeable change that everyone will comment on.

GL

Hair styles? Help!! I'm out of ideas!?

You could do it in a half pony tail. That's always fun with curly hair. Or pig tails...

If you have a curling iron that gets hot enough though, you can straighten your hair with it. It takes longer, but it worked for me for a while.

Good luck!

Hair styles? Help!! I'm out of ideas!?

Half pony

Messy bun

braids

Side pony

Curling (with hair curler or blow dryer)

Chopsticks (or pencils w.e lol)

Clip it up (twist and clip it in the back)

Male frizzy, puffy, curly, short hair?

I'm a male and my hair is natural curly and short, it often puffs up and got all frizzy and I hate it! It is not the afro type. After shower, I always let it natural dry, which made my hair looks good wavy. However, when I exercise and sweat, my hairs just puffs up and sometimes I feel itchy. One of my other concern is the hair on my forehead wouldn't grow down. It formed some kind of a dreadlock and curls a lot. I tried using water or gel but it wouldn't last long. Please, is there a way to prevent this or let the hair on my forehead grow wavy down? I know I shouldn't be concern with hair so much since I'm a male. However, when my hair puffs up too bad, it caught other people's attention and I hate it! I want to be atleast normal. Please help! I prefer tips on what to do than what products to use. I don't want to straighten my hair as well, I want to keep it curly/wavy (that can still be style), and not madly poofy/frizzy!!!

Male frizzy, puffy, curly, short hair?

there are many products out there in many price ranges to help control frizzy hair...hair products are not just for girls, anyone can use them. the hair serums are good...next time you get your haircut ask what they think would work, or have them try a product on you to see how you like it!

Male frizzy, puffy, curly, short hair?

Use Sunsilk De-frizz 24/7 creme, you can find it in a green bottle at any drugstore and it's only $5. I'm positive it will solve your problem :]

I have, well, I guess you can say curly hair. What styling products should I use?

I have, well, I guess you can say curly hair. What styling products should I use?

Eather, from Revlon or Beauty Brands! Those are my favorite for any type of Hair product. no gel! it gets your hair greasy and oily really fast. just blow dry your hair in your natural style. Or, Curling Irons work great! Use, most likely a thin one!

I have, well, I guess you can say curly hair. What styling products should I use?

I have the same hair and always get envious looks and LOADS of compliments when i use the John Frieda-FRIZZEASE products, the bomb!

I have, well, I guess you can say curly hair. What styling products should I use?

I have naturally curly hair and I use the John Frieda Frizz-eaze products or (depending on the budget) Finesse curl enhancer mousse.

I have, well, I guess you can say curly hair. What styling products should I use?

go with iso bouncy spray it works wonders my hair is straight and i can make it look like i have a perm with some scrunching and a diffuser. also it is great to use to help curl with an iron for more defined curls. they also have a product called taper foam that is great to straighten out the curl for that sleek look. hope this helps
