Hello! It's hot! I live in Arizona where it's gotten to 111 degrees or higher. =) So I want to cut my hair, but I don't want it too short, or short at all. I'd like to try to keep the long length. It's long to about the middle of my back, and I straighten it a lot because it's naturally curly. So cutting it short isn't an option, seeing as how I do have a natural kinky curl, it'd end up shorter than I would have wanted it. But what I want is: something layered, and I want bangs (i haven't had bangs in a long time), so do you know of any cute layered cuts for long hair? provide pictures if possible. Thanks!

go search for pictures of rory gilmore, from the show, most of the seventh season she had bangs, and her hair was really long, also i warn you, the bangs can be a pain in the butt, cause they really tickle, as for the heat, have you tried putting it up?

I also have natural very kinky curly hair. Layers are bad for our hair because it will end up being HUGE. Keeping it ONE length and LONG keeps your hair weighed down and pretty, if you do the other you WILL regret it just like I did. One length and definetely don't do bangs. I did them and with our kind of hair they just DO NOT work. It sucks, but with our hair we are kinda stuck with nothing to do!!! Put it up if you're hot!!

I love curly hair, and I think that if you had some layers beginning at chin-length added, it would take a lot of the weight off your hair and give it a modern look. How about some of these curly hair looks:
