Go ahead and try it! It's only hair and it will grow back.

Plus, If you don't like the straight bangs, you can always sweep them over to the side until they grow out in a couple weeks.

With curly hair straight bangs will not look good. Not unless you straighten then curl it with a curlying iron.

whatever you like best! i know that side bangs are more popular today and i like them better but straight across are cute too! do whatever you think is best, if yoou get them straight across you can probably wear them both ways anyway.

But the thing about straight bangs is that it boxes in your face. So, if you have a square face to begin with, straight-cut bangs will only accentuate that more.

Also, having your hair parted down the center will divide your facial features right down the center and bring them out. That is, if you love your nose, go for the center part; if you think your nose could be a bit smaller, part that hair to the side.

It all depends on the shape of your face, jaw, and features.

depends on your face shape I think. Also your forehead size and all. I had straight bangs for a while but my forehead is kinda small and they always covered my eyes and I was basically always shaking them out of my face.
