How can i improve my hair and/or any good styles to wear at school?

My hair is wavy slightly curly.I have had it chemically straightened worked a little bit but now is flyaway and at that bit in the middle of your head where most of your hair comes from it feels hard and blunt.Its quite thick but i want to improve the shine and general condition of it.

Also,I am in year eight at school(12-13 year olds) and would like a suitable yet not boring style to wear.Everyday i wear a ponytail,piggy tails or just straightened and down.Its getting boring.What should i do?Please suggest anything at all and how to do it.Thanks

get micro braids...also try switching you shampoos, pantene 2-1 is what I use.

My friend has a 13 year old girl and is very difficult to have the style of the centuary. But I would sugest that you persevere and continue with your pony tails untill something suitable
