I've always wanted to style my hair with beachy waves, but my hair is too curly!?

I've tried putting straightening serum in it before lightly drying it, but it always has too much curl, then looks like crap. Straightening out the curls a little just doesn't seem to look good. Any suggestions??

straighten your hair completely and then take a spray bottle with 2 or more cups of water with 1 tablespoon SEASALT and spray it allover and scrunch i have the same hair and it works for me :] good luck
