...hi. i am in the process of growing out my hair. after showering- and when the hair has dried- it tends to be frizzy. in your opinion, what are the best products (shampoos/conditioners, styling, etc.) that i could use for my mane? i should also let you know- in case it matters- that my hair is of the fine/thin variety. thank you for taking the time and best wishes to you and yours!!!:)

My husband has wavy/curly hair and it is fine also. He has let his hair grow to past his shoulders. He uses TRESemme shampoo and conditioner (anti-breakage) and La bella super spikes styling gel from wal-mart. This holds his hair in place all day. He gells every day except weekends. He washes and conditiones at least 3 days a week. Hope this helps.

Well considering your hair is thin, I would not grow it out. My brother-in-laws hair is the same way and it looks horrible. He won't cut it because everyone is telling him to. If it's important to you then try using gel. You may find that it makes you look bald.

try outshine from Redkin, it is a styling product and its also light, so it won't way your hair down or leave a grease build up. you don't need to use a lot of it at one time.

Too give your hair shine use trevor sorbie shampoo for fine hair and normal conditioner. To style your hair I find Vo5 wax or wax junkie by marc daniels. What ever the make use a light wax.

hi friend, same problem with me, but my hair is already long, and I am using Loreal Products, you should try this, do one thing, when you take bath, dry your hair and apply some gel then comp it, after where a cap for some time, you hair will stay managed all day long, don't use any conditioner now, let your hair grow first.

I keep it short, it gets wavy as it gets longer. I like it long, but when I try, it is more of a bother than I think a man should have to deal with. It's easier when I wear it short.

Leave-in conditioner is the way to go after showering. I also use Sleek-and-Shine sometimes. It helps to put product in right after showering, put on a hat until you are done shaving and getting dressed and everything. Then you take it off, maybe use a little product like pomade or gel and you're done for the day.
