My daughter has the same problem - Try Curly Pudding - Click the link below to Miss Jessie's site - check out not just the link but through her pages - the stuff is great!!!!!!

Don't waste money on the Meringue - the pudding is the best. It's best to go to a Salon first so they can show you how to use it and really work it into your hair the first time. But it really is so simple - my daughter is 12 yrs and she can finally do her hair herself......

I'm not sure of your ethnic background but my daughter is Puerto Rican and white mix and we now live by it.......

For Straighten your hair and NOT damage it - Use the Maxiglide. Click link below

This is a combination of steam and heat to straighten your hair. My daughters hair is just past the middle of her back and extremely thick. It only takes me 45 minutes to complete her entire head and stays for days. At night sleep with your hair wrapped and In the AM just do touch ups.

Great product well worth the value - to be able to do your hair whenever you want and just not when you can go afford to waste 2 plus hours at the salon and cost well over $50 per visit!

My daughter also has really curly hair. She uses Potion 9 when she has it curly. When she straightens it she uses a ceramic straightener- because it doesn't damage her hair and then puts a leave conditioner on it. Her hair looks great

I have curly hair also. I found that by using Aussie mouse in it and letting it dry naturally it keeps the frizz out.

So do i! (^_^) it rocks eh!? not!

Ok, well after i shower i spray some infusium or pantene pro-v (curl revive) spray-in conditioner and brush it in when it's wet. (Both are about $4 a bottle) Then i let it dry a little. Damp to the touch, not dripping.. And i work a large splurt of Herbal Essences smoothing creme into it and finger straighten little chunks. It works great and is about $6 at Walmart. I usually blow dry it upside down to add volume but it works great air-drying as well.

Hope this helps!! (^_^) Oh yeah, and i have a brush that is supposed to help with friz because of ions or something.. it works anyways... I got that at Walmart too! :D

The most important thing about keeping naturally curly hair from frizzing is keeping it properly moisturized and conditioned. You want to start out with a soft cleansing shampoo, and then follow with a moisturizing conditioner. For curly hair I recommend trying Pantene Pro-V shapoos and conditioners for curly hair. They work well and fit into your budget. Curly hair does not need to be washed often, even if you have oily hair, a dail rinse with warm water, followed by conditioner is usually a great way to keep your curls defined and frizz-less. I know that some women wash their curly hair everyday, and I have found that this increases frizz. The conditioner does not build up on the hair, so that can be used every day. After conditioning, a light moisturizer can and should be used, especially if your hair is exposed to sun, chlorine, wind, or electrical heat (flat irons, blow dryers etc.) I use olive oil in my hair, but my thick curls can tolerate a little bit of it. Not everyone can. Next, for definition and control you may want to get a light styling aid. I prefer not to use mousse because I find it leaves my curls feeling crunchy and less likely to move or be touchable, so I use Citre-Shine Curl Booster. It is very very light but has all day control. Finally, one tip that most of us curly heads to not adhere to is HANDS OFF! It's very hard n ot to play in such wonderful curls, but a lot of touching and playing with them disturbs the curls and separates them, allowing them to spread and react to moisture which equals frizz. Good luck and don't forget to tell your curls you love them!!!

Yes - stop straightening your hair! Curly hair is the most delicate of all %26amp; you are ruining your curl and creating puffy curls from pulling on your hair. There are no good affordable products for our hair type. They mostly contain heavy silicones - which you should NEVER use on your hair - as well as cheap alcohol that only dries your hair out even more. I have used everything %26amp; the only thing I have found to work is Ouidad.( her site is www.ouidad.com). My hair has never looked or felt better. Frizz is gone and my curls are healthy, which is what's really important. Also, my sister uses her "Humidity gel" when she blows out her hair because it never frizzes %26amp; protect her hair from the heat.
