Whatever looks good on you is whats in style! Who cares if perms are back in style, it might look amazing on one person and horrible on the next. Do what is right for you. I have naturally curly/wavy hair and I rarely waste an hour a day straightening it just b/c it might be in style

well, ppl have always straightened/curled their hair for special occasions. and for people with naturally curly hair like me, only a few of them spent time straightening it every day.

I've recently stopped using straighteners as it was so time consuming .and I've had loads of compliments on my curls. When you look around, everybody has dead straight hair, there's nothing different. Curls stand out. Just keep it in good condition, and try to get a good style. though I know it's hard with curly hair.
